Hi, I'm seriously considering becoming a single mother by choice but struggling to deal with the whole sperm donor thing. I was just wondering if anyone has any advice on reconciling yourself with not 'knowing' who the father of your child is?

Didn't want to read and not reply!

Before I met my current partner, of a year, I had seriously considered getting a sperm doner even my mum suggested it at one point (she was convinced after 5 years of me being single I was going to be single forever) lol! However my advice to you would be to go for it! I understand it doesn't have to be anyone you know and their are some websites where you can get more information on how to go about it! I must add bringing a child into this world, regardless of the fact you will be a single parent, is really here nor there as long as you have love for your child everything will be ok :)

Good luck with everything xxxx
