I had day 21 blood tests today - what now?

Having pretty much given up, stopped using opk, tracking days, dtd to order, taking FA......i had the blood tests today. How long does it take to get results? Do I go into GP or do i phone? DH has SA next weds

I am fretting again.

Hope u dont mind me posting here but plz help as I am soo confused, today is cd 28 and I just done a opk test which come back positive I normally have a 28/29 day cyle whats happening?

i WAS in the same boat
me and my fiance had been trying for our first baby for 10 months before i went to the doctor
i explained my regular average cycle was 44 days but we still had no luck falling pregnant
they sent me for the day "21" blood test ( i got mine took on day 30 as my cycle is longer and the blood needs to be taken 14 days before next period is due in order to be accurate)
i got a phone call from my doctor the next day saying they had the results and i had to make an appointment as they couldnt discuss over the telephone.
my doctors is a nightmare for appointments so a week and a half later i finally got seen and the doctor explained i had high testosterone hormone levels.... the male hormone...she explained i had a syndrome called poly cystic ovarian syndrome or PCOS for short. this makes TTC a very exhausting and drawn out process but is not impossible to fall pregnant naturally. although there is treatment and medication available if needed.
i am on CD61 just now and 16 days late, i too 1 HPT last week and it came back negative but my period still hasnt arrived i am very bloated and tired apart from that no other symptoms i have to call my doctor tomorrow and they may take me in to get a hcg blood test done to check if i am pregnant (fingers crossed) but please dont lose hope or feel down it is hard at first but there are so many woan out there who get the day 21 test and who have PCOS who still go one to have 2+ chidren naturally.

Ah thanks for your reply ello I really hope you get a good result!! We have been etc for 18 cycles now, due to my shortish cycles that is 14 months.

I was under the impression day 21 was worked out on a standard 28 day cycle - 7 days after ovulation
and 7 days before AF is due?

Sorry, posting on my phone and its rubbish with the new layout. I had my day 21 tests on day 18 - i have a 25 day cycle on average.
