Question about cbfm

My first month using it- I got a 2nd bar Cd16 - 24. No 3rd bar..I hear this can be common for first month.

My question is, the day is drops back to 1 bar, does this mean I ov'd cd 23/24?

I seem to have 45 day cycles but irregular until the last 2 cycles. I'm cd 42 today. . No period yet.

The CB monitor will ask for 20 sticks if it doesn't detect peak. Yes this is very common on the first cycle using it.

Has it stopped asking for sticks now and gone back to Low?

Yep. It stopped asking for sticks at cd 25.. overall it requested 17 sticks. .

Nope.. The bog standard one! Wondering if I should have forked out for the new one now..

The 17 sticks is really weird as it asks for sticks in sets of 10, so I have no idea why it would ask for 17! Anyhow I don't think you wl be able to tell when you ovulated from the info the machine has given you thus far. If you've kept the sticks you could look at them and see which ones look most like a peak stick and match that with EWCM etc. otherwise you might have to wait next cycle ( assuming you are not pregnant) and hopefully it will give you a peak.

It's interesting you should say this, as it asked for sticks from cd6, I was still bleeding and so obviously only had one bar. A few days at 1 bar it stopped asking for sticks for a day or two (memory rubbish, it's written down somewhere! ) then started asking again. A friend said This was unheard of, that it doesn't do on first cycle of use.

Definitely not pregnant despite lack of period so far. We didn't have sex properly at all this month as we were away with family and no opportune moments, so we were hoping the cbfm would allow us a more targeted approach this month!

I agree, I've never heard of it stop asking for sticks and then start again, maybe a glitch? Did you hard-reset it when you got it? If you didn't I might be inclined to do that, otherwise just hit the 'm' button first day of next AF and fingers crossed your next cycle with the monitor gives you a peak.

Crap. I'm worried my monitor is broken.

Shouldn't have bought it second hand. Bloody hell
