Breastfeeding period brown discharge help!

Hiya I've been breastfeeding my lg now for 10 months my period came back last month, This month I just got brown discharge instead of my period it lasted for 3-4 days my period not due till today but I've not come on. I did a pregnancy test Saturday which was negative. Any advice would be much appreciated thank you. Anyone any ideas or been through something similar thank you

My dd is also 10 months. I had a v light two day bleed about 7 weeks ago. Then nothing so I did a few hpt tests all bfn. Then last week I got a normal period that lasted 5 days. I drive my self mad symptom spotting so I am charting cm and hoping to get regular cycles soon. From my research I would say anything goes with periods and breastfeeding. Do another hpt, but if bfn then take the bleed as a sign of your returning fertility. Are you ttc?

It can just be your cycle returning. Although I had 'periods' like that when breastfeeding dd2, turns out I was pregnant with ds. I was 11 weeks when I found out. I think you should wait a few days and POAS again just in case.

I went to go see my doctor today who was no help he just told me to wait and see what happens. I did a pregnancy test which came back with a line and dot on it, unsure of what to think of that. Thanks for the help ! This what the pregnancy test came back with

That test looks faulty. I'd do another.
