So glad I found this site, need somewhere to vent.....
It's been over a year and a half now and nowhere? Me and SO have been trying (VERY) hard over the past year and a half: therapists, me on top, him on top, hormone consultants,.....the list goes on. Our savings are nearly gone and we're nowhere :( I guess the question now is..how do we move on from here? I just have to face the fact that I've got about five good years before the odds of a birth defect are just too much (this is our first, and we've seen the numbers on what happens to first-time mothers over 40).

Anyone else been in a situation like this before? SO is completely understanding, or as good as he can get in this situation, but I need the advice of women who have been here before.

I have been in this situation before. However, I maybe can just reply to you with the same words you've posted on another thread of people looking for support on a completely unrelated subject.....

Maybe you all should stop trying to distract yourselves by buying useless old rubbish and live in the now? Instead of fantasy land? Good gravy, reminds my of SO's mum before she went off the deep end and started collecting old newspapers

Not very helpful was it? As it's your only other post, and you state that you're "so glad I found this site", I can only assume you've just joined. Common courtesy dictates that when you join a site to ask for support, that you don't in turn rip apart others also asking for support. Kindly remember that.

Hopefully someone will be along that can provide you with the support you seem to want. It's a shame you couldn't provide the same courtesy to others.
