Hi Sathya. Hypothyroidism can be successfully treated with thyroid replacement hormone, usually levothyroxine, and many women manage to have children with an underactive thyroid that is being treated. Make sure you tell your doctor you're TTC as it will affect your treatment. You may find it useful to post on the Health board - there are loads of ladies with thyroid conditions there who have had children and so can advise you.

Good luck
