Ah Genni that's pants! Bad enough not to ov but for af to mess you around as well, fx it arrives today and saves you £8!

I feel so sick today, would like to think its a symptom but more likely the situation with dp

Afternoon all. It sounds like everyone is being very dedicated to the cause, especially Blueberry. Hopefully it will result in lots of bfps. We are just doing every other day at the moment on the wtf cycle so I have no idea what is going on and not much hope for this month. You never know though.

Fingers crossed for you Genni, you never know. Hope it resolves itself either way.

Spinninggirl so sorry dp is being so difficult. Hope he talks to you soon and you get your holiday.

gennibugs · 23/09/2014 13:54

Ok so I caved. Went and bought a Superdrug own brand test. They're very accurate aren't they? I had to as I was driving myself mad not doing any work and frantically symptom spotting.

Anyway. BFN. Of course. Still at least I only wasted £4 as oppose to a more pricy frer. And now I know so I can stop obsessing and focus on doing some work!!!! And just wait out AF. Really hope it isn't some freak million day cycle! I want to get going on cycle 11 Angry

Afternoon ladies,

Spinning If he had stopped you'd have been more annoyed right? lol

Genni Sorry for the BFN sometimes are bodies just like to mess us around, if you didnt ovulate this month that might explain AF not turning up. Keep an eye on your body because you may still ovulate just at the wrong time!

So my ovulation cramps (what I think they are anyway) are horrible this month I really wasnt sure id stay at work it hurts so much.

I just want to curl up in a ball with a hot water bottle in bed but noooo, hopeing itll die off soon.

Does anyone else get painful ovulation?

Blueberry, sorry to hear how painful your ov is. One month I had it so bad overnight. I couldn't sleep it was that bad, you poor thing. Hope it eases off soonThanks and yes you're right if he'd stopped I'd have been mad especially as we were in my car! He says we'll chat later so fx we can sort thingsz

Frolicacid · 23/09/2014 17:03

Is there room for one more on the bus?
Frolicacid 34 ttc#1 cycle #2 BFP due oct 18th

I've just made a load of sloe gin and blackberry brandy in the hope of invoking Sod's law and being pregnant and unable to drink it by Christmas Smile

sparkle17 · 23/09/2014 17:34

Hi ladies, been away while from mn while passing the time during the most boring time of the cycle and awaiting dtd time again. I'm still sad that am now on cycle 5 but hey ho, still very much within normal ranges! I'm glad I have you ladies here as in rl it seems that either people get upduffed straight away or have significant problems and need medical intervention/ivf. I need more stories of people getting pregnant somewhere inbetween...and I do get that here which is great. Started ov tests again, I have ov on cd14 for the past 3 months but I still like doing them as it makes me feel like something is working. on cd 9 at the moment so gearing up for a lot of dtd this weekend.

genni sorry it was a bfn. i hope you are out of limbo land soon.

Welcome to October bus frolic

spinningirl10 · 23/09/2014 17:45

Welcome FrolicGrin

Good to see you sparkle, sounds like the weekend is all plannedWink

spinningirl10 · 23/09/2014 17:46

Ooh sloe gin frolic, that does sound goodGrin

Jessica85 · 23/09/2014 18:20

Hello all. I'm totally clueless on this cycle stuff, please help! Does EWCM mean I'm ovulating soon? My temp is still low and opks are negative, so I think it's just a bit random. I've never paid any attention to cm before, and been on implant for a while so it is highly likely my body is just confused! Dtd sat and yesterday so hopefully even if I am ov we've managed to catch the egg.

Hi all,

Frolic I love your logic. I've got my fx that it works out for you. Smile

spinning I hope things are looking up between you and DP.

I'm only in ttc cycle 1 and it's already driving me crazy. I'm not sure if I've even ovulated this month as no ewcm, but I've had other signs such as cramps on one side, etc. Hormones going crazy. Headaches, cramping, feelings of nausea... As much as I would love it to be pregnancy related, it's more likely to be hormone related after coming off of the pill. :( We keep dtd just in case, but who knows. AF due next Monday according to Ovia, but I'm not expecting to be regular, so another uncertainty.

Got to keep thinking positive. x

CuppaSarah · 23/09/2014 18:59

Hello people! I have been waiting a long time to be able to join you guys. I hope you don't mind me joining in!

ttc no 2. cycle 1. BFP due 11th oct.
Getting married on Saturday so fingers crossed for a honeymoon baby! I haven't had a chance to read up on the thread and see how everyone is doing, so fingers crossed for lots of BFPs over the next few weeks.

Jessica85 · 23/09/2014 19:02

Thanks sunbathing. Another question cos google is confusing me today is it possible to dtd too much? Like do we have to have a day in between or is every day okay?

ainat I'm also going crazy, I'm so rubbish at waiting for stuff! It doesn't help that my mum was banging on saying the other day how all the women in our family get upduffed really easily. And it isn't even true - my sis (her pfb) had to have fertility treatment!

TerrysNo2 · 23/09/2014 19:10

hi all! I'm travelling with work today in Dublin and as temps are way down and AF is imminent I am going to have a few drinks tonight... what better place to do it?! Grin

I have heard that DTD is better every other day as then the "quality"of the swimmers is better. Having said that we conceived DD DTD every day so this month we are going to DTD every other day until I get a +ve OPK and then every day until after ov.

Sloe gin sounds like a great idea!!! I also decided to treat myself each month I don't conceive, just a little something I wouldn't get it I was pregnant so today I bought a top at the airport!

lucieloos · 23/09/2014 19:14

Hi Jessica, I looked up the same thing myself the other day as DH and I wanted to up the number of times we were dtd. I think nowadays doctors tend to agree that you can't dtd too much when ttc. I found this link useful www.babycenter.com/404_can-having-too-much-sex-affect-our-chances-of-conception_6145.bc

Hi all, newbie here.

Mirena Coil being removed on 2nd October, eeek. DH & I TTC#1 for us. He has a DS11 and I have DD6 and DD3 from previous relationships. So TTC#4 overall, I suppose!

Both my DDs were BFPs within 8 weeks of trying, after being on the Mini Pill and Implanon. I realise thats ridiculously quick and am thinking it will be a bit longer for this one - I was 23 last time I got a BFP and I'm 28 now. Is that old enough to make a difference?!

Jessica85 · 23/09/2014 20:01

Thanks lucieloos and sunbathing! I'm sure I sound like a horny teenager, but I'm just in the mood tonight. I'm gonna go with whatever I feel like, as long as it's at least eod!

Welcome itsfunnierinenochian! Can I call you Enoch for short, or do you need you full title. I don't think 28 makes that much difference, this article (top of the google scholar list) has some numbers.

www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3017326/

I wonder if there's a cochrane review about it - I'll check.

Joey0805 · 23/09/2014 20:06

Another new joiner... Age 32, TTC#1, cycle 1, Need to POAS on 1st Oct a/c Ovia (but haven't ovulated this month so October is 1st proper month of trying), came off the pill a month ago.

xBlueberry88x · 23/09/2014 20:37

Argh dp is to tired to dtd so much for catching the egg im so annoyed at him im crying grrrr
