Hi terrys. So sorry for your loss, that must've been awful. I do know a few people who've had babies after having ectopics and tubes removed, so I really hope you get a sticky bean soon. I mc earlier this year (12 weeks, just a few hours before my scan) and my first cycle afterwards was longer but then it snapped back to 28/9 days - apart from this 31 dayer I've just had - so hopefully yours will get back to normal too Smile

xBlueberry88x · 18/09/2014 13:40

Afternoon ladies,

Spinning I think it was a good purchase as well lol he definitely appreciated it!! haha the things we have to do sometimes.

MrsE glad you havent killed your DH yet lol hopefully you'll feel more energetic today!

Stqueen sorry AF arrived timing around the smiley face is good but we often stop to early. Its best to start a couple of days before ovulation and once you get a smiley face ovulation can happen any when upto 36 hours after so its good to dtd that day and a few days after.

Welcome to the other newbies and the bus transfers

Genni Sorry AF is on her way but at least you can get started again

Terrys sorry about your loss that must be so hard to deal with fx for a quick bfp!

I also cant wait for Downton I love Autumn all the best programs start!!

CD 11 today and some ewcm and opk was getting darker yesterday so hopefully get positive soon. Going to try and dtd every day if we can im determined this month I cant believe its been 18 months its really getting to me!

On other news we excepted a quote for double glazing yesterday managed to haggle them down because im awesome but still £4000 boooo.

Hello ladies, would love to join - stats are# ceds86 28 ttc#1 cycle 2. BFP due 15th oct.
My last AF only lasted a day and a half - which seems odd - any ideas if that means anything? The longest it ever has been is 3 days anyway?
Hope everyone is well and fx'd for a lucky month for us all Smile

MrsExtraOrdinary · 18/09/2014 14:22

Terry's charting and opks are much better. I'm just lazy and disorganised. I haven't got the super expensive cbfm. I've just got the box of clearblue digital dual hormone indicators. About £30 for 2 month supply I think.

I have found them quite good on fmu. (First morning urine) but not everyone likes them. So you get a flashy on the run up to ov and as you peak fertility you get full on smily face. I haven't had it yet this month. But I'm a tad stressed as my dh has turned into an oversized 5 year old and I'm moving house. I am the old woman in the shoe this week. I'm usually very serene! Wink

MrsExtraOrdinary · 18/09/2014 14:29

Sunbathing I'm cheering your right ovary on this month!!! Grin

Dozygirl · 18/09/2014 14:58

Sorry to hear of your loss terry

I'm finding using opks stressful! First day I used it the line came up straight away but was definitely lighter than control, next day was barely visible, then a bit stronger yesterday's and again today it's barely visible. The strips only explain what a positive and negative mean, but are their different types of negatives? Not sure how to explain what I mean..... Just worried that it's going lighter each day rather than darker and I should be due a positive as I'm cd14. Only dtd cd 11 and 12 so far. Earlier attempts were unsuccessful (no jiz tmi). Will try dtd tonight and tomorrow. Just get so paranoid that I'm missing the right day! Need to chill out :(

xBlueberry88x · 18/09/2014 15:37

Dozy how long is your cycle?
The opks show LH which we always have in our system so some people see different shades on the line through out the cycle.
Personally I have very light lines and then it gets darker up until ovulation when its usually darker than the control line.
Other than that what time of day are you testing and do you have pcos (ladies with pcos often cant get positives from opks).

Welcome Ced

spinningirl10 · 18/09/2014 17:10

Terry, sorry to hear of your eptopic, fx for a healthy bfp soon.

Sunbathing, sorry to hear of your scan results. I have no idea what that is but hope it doesn't affect ttc.

Good luck to MrE at docs.

spinningirl10 · 18/09/2014 17:11

And blueberry, well done for bartering but £4000!!! House maintenance is so expensive! My ex dh was a builder so didn't ever have to pay for anything. Bit of a shock now!

Af arrived today in all her glory Sad my cycles had been 31 days but they're now back to 28 days so we had dtd at the wrong time. Didn't expect to be as upset as I am and feel a bit silly for feeling sad about it especially when I have C already. Keep reminding myself it is.early days xxx

broodylicious · 18/09/2014 18:28

Well done on the haggling blueberry! Oddly enough, we've just ordered new glazing this afternoon. Even weirder....ours also comes to £4k! Seems such a lot of money, doesn't it?

Thanks blueberry and sunbathing. I was just really expecting a positive today. Last two cycles have been 27 days so figured I should have ovulated yesterday or today but tests are all still negative so I was a little disappointed. I don't have pcos or anything as far as I know. First time I was pg which ended in mmc I hadn't been taking the pill for long but this time I've had it about two years which still isn't that long but I'm wondering whether it's messed with things a little bit.

Eek 4k for double glazing!! Think of the holidays u could go on for that price!

TerrysNo2 · 18/09/2014 19:28

Hi all

Well I'm feeling very grumpy today, I wonder if AF is on her way? Maybe I just need some chocolate Grin

Sunbathing whats adenomyosis? Its funny isn't it, how MC can be so horrible but also give you hope at the same time. I remember when I had mine before DD and it was so sad but also made me think that if I can fall pregnant once then I can again. And I was right!

Sorry to hear about your AF Christies - of course its upsetting if you are TTC and whilst I agree its hard to grumble when you've already been lucky to have a DC, it doesn't mean you can't want more! That's how I feel anyway.

Envious of your glazing broody and spinning - we need it done but expect ours will cost more than 4k so not even asked for a quote yet!

Dozy OPKs are great but can be confusing, I wouldn't pay any attention to them until the test line is darker than the control. Do you check your cervix also, as I find that really helps alongside the OPKs (and temping for me)?

Blueberry if you DTD every day I will be impressed! I am going to try for every other day until I get a +ve OPK and then every day until -ve OPK. Didn't do too badly this month except didn't DTD on OV day as DH gets a bit frustrated with having to perform on demand so I don't want to TTC to become something that's a chore.

Anyone else getting up early tomorrow to check the referendum results??

Hello to all the newbies - hope your journeys are short

bkueberry we need a some building work doing - do you fancy popping by and doing some bartering on my behalf? Sounds like you are an expert!

sunbathing I hope you get the condition looked at and sorted. I'm sure the gynae will be able to tell you more.

Ooh the oven is pinging so have to dash - will be back later to catch up properly!

broodylicious · 18/09/2014 20:12

I know terrys, it's a lot of cash! We've just bought a new house, moved in four weeks ago, and there's so much work to do. Glazing is tip of the iceberg! New bathroom, new kitchen (we are knocking walls down to make a big open plan kitchen/diner and swapping the existing layout around), new flooring, new internal doors, new decor in every room... Don't get me started in the garden! Eeek! And I'm bound to get upduffed soon because on all these grand designs, Sarah Beeny, location location location type tv programmes, all the women seem to either just before or just after moving house! Let's hope so! Lol x

Sunbathing sorry to hear about your news, but at least it doesn't sound like it stops you getting pregnant. Is it really uncomfortable?

Broody that is quite a project you have going there, it sounds like it will be amazing once it's done. I would love to do an extension here or knock down some walls. I am realising how much space you need with a little one!
