Hi everyone is ok, not much to report on cycle day 6, bought some clear blue ovulation testers, to see if this helps pin point ovulation this month, had a little test today, (just to make sure i know what i am doing lol)

Dreamingoutloud · 17/09/2014 19:43

Very annoyed, really was expecting Af today and it still hasn't arrived! I have all the twinges and just, nothing Hmm fx for tomorrow, just wanna get going lol

Haha sunbathing your DH did make me laugh, men eh?

Dozygirl · 17/09/2014 19:45

Thanks sunbathing. Mine are definitely negative at the moment. Just hoping for a positive soon/tomorrow. Got a busy weekend with friends housewarming and 30th birthday weekend and I struggle dtd when I've had a drink and dp is known to fall asleep midway when he's drunk to much haha. He knows how much I want this but he's in the 'it'll happen when it happens' boat and not in a rush for it unlike me. He's done better than last month tho so at least he's trying a bit harder. I thought all men are highly sexed creatures until I met mine. Love him to bits tho so I guess u can't have everything.

My DH was gobsmacked that there is only one egg a month, he thought you got a new one every other day and that's why we were dtd EOD! I wish haha!! He's taken to asking if I need 'sperminating' when he gets in from work now!!

xBlueberry88x · 17/09/2014 20:34

spinning not yet only cd 11 i think already dtd though its getting darker normally positive cd12 or 13 so fx. Ps my phone knows im writing spinning as soon as i start writing it lol.

secret are you getting a biopsy thats the only way to definitely diagnose coeliac. If you get diagnosed make sure they send you to a dietitian and for a dexa scan and tell you if you need any extra vitamins (im anaemic)

mrse i hate arguing with dp we dont argue often thank god but if he annoys me to much i do ignore him but i end up missing him lol sad i know

Sorry i cant catch up properly im on my phone.

We are going to try and dtd every day from yesterday to as far past ovulation as possible determined not to miss it this time.

I use persuasion eg i bought a sexy pvc costume tried it on earlier to see if it fits and ended up dtd lol men are so easy sometimes!

Hope everyone is okay....ive been put on strong iron tablets so hopefully ill stop being so damn tired all the time

spinningirl10 · 17/09/2014 20:57

Soap, I love your dh's thinking. An egg eod would sure make things easierGrin

Blueberry, haha my phone recognises names as wellGrin well done on the pvc outfit, sounds like it will be put to good useWink

Pikz · 17/09/2014 21:03

Hahaha this thread has proper cheered me up tonight Grin

DH only understands because our consultant explained it all before we had Ds. He also uses sperminating as a word. He said to me today period over then... Must get up my energy for every day in two weeks time then! Bless him

MrsExtraOrdinary · 17/09/2014 21:35

Evening all! Wink I haven't killed dh I promise, although he hasn't improved much!

I think he's having another midlife crisis. Last one was 4 years ago when I got pg with ds, it was resolved by buying an M3. I dread to think what will resolve it this time. It's ds's birthday Friday, he's 3. I can't believe where the time has gone. I feel like so much of it has been wasted. I think there's a lot playing on dhs mind. It would have been his dads bday today, alas he died about 14 years ago. Littlest ds turning 3, dhs bday following week and moving into a new house. Think it's all just a bit much.

But as men do he doesn't talk about it, just walks around with a massive cloud. Sad

In other news my friend is an angel and has taken my paperwork out of the building!Grin

No dtd just yet. Dh suggested it but I couldn't gather the energy. Just feeling drained. Not had proper smily yet though so maybe there is still time. Confused

Treaclepie19 · 17/09/2014 21:37

Sorry you're having a tough time MrsE. Sending hugs! X

Hi All,

I'm joining from the September thread - sadly AF arrived today, 2 days earlier than expected grrr. My cycles are approx. 35 days (last 4 have been 37, 34, 35, 33) so expecting an October BFP around 22nd Oct.

Last month I used CB OPKs and timed DTD around the smiley face (unfortunately due to shifts etc. DH and I will never be an EOD type) - so a bit gutted that it 'didn't work'. Clearly theres a lot more to TTC than just getting the timing right!

I'm trying to think of what I can do this month to help things along - any thoughts on positive thinking & the power of the mind? Is all of this negative thinking having an impact on the old body?? Who knows!

Anyway, hoping that you lovely ladies will keep me sane as I start the next cycle, FX for many BFPs on here!

x

ShortLashes · 17/09/2014 22:03

Hi StQueen and welcome to the October bus, although I've been a silent passenger till now. There's a lot of luck in all this. While I don't know how much positive thinking helps us reach the end goal, what I do know is that negative thinking cannot help at all!

I'm expecting a BFP around the 7th October Smile.

MrsExtraOrdinary · 17/09/2014 22:12

Thanks treacle! Smile It'll be ok I'm sure. Just bad timing. I booked some Christmas fun for the family to cheer myself up, Laplanduk for out littlest and ice skating at Hampton court on Christmas Eve for everyone Grin

Hello October Bus... So I'm officially out this month. I'm also taking a mn mini break, so much crappy family stuff going on. I would really appreciate it if you can add me to the list, so when things are calmer I am ready to rock...

Frogbubbles, 32, ttc2, c5, BFP 16/10

spinningirl10 · 18/09/2014 06:14

Morning Grin

Welcome Queen, it's frustrating when you've done all you can and af still arrives. Keep going,fx you'll soon have your bfp.

Frog, sorry af arrived. Hope we see you back here soon.

MrsE, sorry things are still not sorted, you do have a lot going on at the moment. Yay for your friend helping you out. The Christmas activities sound fab!

We dtd again this morning before dp went to work. We've managed to dtd a lot till now so fx for a bfpGrin

gennibugs · 18/09/2014 08:50

Morning All.

I have woken up feeling like AF is on her way. It's fine though, I was expecting it. Hopefully she'll come bang on time so we can get cracking on October! It's the first "symptoms" I've had all month!

Happy Thursday everyone - the weekend is in sight!!!!

spinningirl10 · 18/09/2014 09:00

Morning Genni, sorry to hear you feel af is coming. I'm keeping fx that the oct bus is going to be lucky for usGrin

Yes Friday tomorrow and my student is off to London for the weekend. Really looking forward to chilling out and catching up on real housewives of Beverly Hills, My guilty pleasure.....if I try and watch TV that he doesn't like he talks all the way through it!

gennibugs · 18/09/2014 09:31

Oh wouldn't it just be lovely if we all got BFPs is October and moved over to the ante natal thread together.

I love all those trashy programmes. I have to resort to watching then when DH is out though! Grin

spinningirl10 · 18/09/2014 09:57

Haha and me Genni! Dp working at weekend so I can watch what I want! Downton abbey back onSunday night, love thatGrin

TerrysNo2 · 18/09/2014 10:48

Hi all, can I join?

DH and I are TTC#3. I fell pregnant a couple of weeks after coming off the pill in June but it was an ectopic pregnancy and I had to have an operation to remove the baby and my left tube in July Sad.

After waiting one cycle like the dr recommended we have started trying again and although we have found it relatively easy to fall pregnant before, I now have no idea what is going to happen with only one tube. Confused

I am currently 8dpo but since the ectopic my last cycle was much longer so I won't be testing until 29 September although I expect AF before then. Although I know I could test in a few days, I'd rather not know too early as I will spend every day worrying about another ectopic.

If anyone else is charting and interested, here's mine

MrsExtraOrdinary · 18/09/2014 11:02

Hi Terry's Smile gosh does sound like you've been through the mill. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Spinning, was the downtown I heard you say??? Oooo I am a total addict! Just need "call the midwife" and I'll be complete! Wink

I'm still flashing, lol. Lines are quite faint still cd13. Last month I got a flashy on cd13. Could be stress. Could be my ovaries know to wait until dh is better. He's off to the dr later, finally

TerrysNo2 · 18/09/2014 11:32

Hi MrsE - it was rather rubbish but so surreal as well, you know when you think something like that will never happen to you. Its made me a bit more nervous in general now that if that can happen to me, what else can.

When you say a flashing, are you using that CBFM monitor? I've seen people mention them but I chart and use OPK's. Do you think the monitor is better than that?
