I know it's early but I had a month off in September. Here is October's bus! :)

All aboard the spooky train!

Illiria - 31, TTC #1, cycle 6, BFP due 1 October

Hi All, I've been lurking for a while but as this is cycle 6 of actively trying thought I should join properly and get advice when needed - well that and I was a bit of POAS addict last month.

Came off implant in January, emigrated to the US from UK in February, married in March and started TTC April/May. We have been together 11 years but only just starting to be in a position to try.

My cycles have been a bit odd since the implant was taken out. So now I have alternating short and normalish cycles.

Decided to chart bbt, then my cycle randomly was 23 days with a borderline short lp and ambiguous temp shift. So decided to take 50mg vitamin b complex which may or may not have helped as 28 day cycle and the shift in temp was more definite and steady but the lp seemed to be the same.

If anyone can decipher the charts and suggest anything I would appreciate, we think that I haven't actually been ovulating on cd11 but later and just stop too soon so going to make more effort to eod all month.

My Ovulation Chart

Hoping all get their BFP on this bus. Sorry it was a long first post.

lucieloos · 13/09/2014 22:44

Hi everyone, I'm officially on the October bus now. AF arrived today right on time. Glad you get another try on September bus sunbathing and I am happy to continue your good work on the stats Smile Hope everyone is well, going to have a proper read back to catch up.

ChandlersFarang · 14/09/2014 09:31

April I'm loving your logic about the witch being busy with Halloween!! I absolutely freaking love Halloween, best of all the annual festivals IMHO!! Grin

Hi illiria! I'm not a charter so can't help there, but I am an expat too, hello and good luck! Smile

spinningirl10 · 14/09/2014 09:33

Morning Grin

Welcome Illiria, sounds like you've had an exciting and busy few months! Where in the US are you? Good luck.

Hi treacle, how are you?

Spotti, nice to see you still lurking, how are you?

Cd8 and I finished the soy last night with 200mg. Have to say they taste vile, really struggle to get them down! Will start peeing on ic ov tests laterGrin

Anyone got any nice plans for today? Dp is taking me for Sunday lunch at my favourite placeGrin

spinningirl10 · 14/09/2014 09:34

Lucie and fox, sorry to see you here, good luck this cycle, this is going to be a lucky busGrin

MrsExtraOrdinary · 14/09/2014 09:47

Haha spotti there you are! Grin

Hi treacle, hope you aren't as run down as you were Wink

I've often thought when I'm really old with nothing to do, I will write the book that is my children's funny sayings and doings. hopefully there will have been another little one to add to the classic collection.

I've only just woken up, completely unheard of! Hope you all have a lovely Sunday Smile

gennibugs · 14/09/2014 09:57

Morning all

Sorry to lucie and fox - good luck for October.

Welcome illiria! I don't temp but I'm sure a temping expert will come along soon.

Spinning that sounds like a lovely afternoon planned. Lunch is always good!! Fx the soy work - are you hoping they have delayed ov and regulated your cycles?

April what did DH think of your hair? That cd sounds like a brilliant idea, I might look into that.

I had a fab night last night - went to see the Book of Mormon. I don't think I've laughed so much in ages! We also had a nice early dinner and went for ice cream after - it was the most amazing Ice cream, any Londoners on here- if you ever want ice cream let me know and I'll tell you this place. Just amazing.

Hope everyone has a lovely Sunday.

gennibugs · 14/09/2014 09:57

I just read your post mrsE about your DS. Proper laughing away at that Grin

spinningirl10 · 14/09/2014 10:04

Genni, pleased you had a good evening. I love ice cream but sadly rarely get to London.
I'm hoping the soy will improve the quality of the egg, if ov is a little later that could be good as well.

KittyVonCatsington · 14/09/2014 10:06

Hey all, I'm still lurking too as you all mean so much to me!

Illiria Charts are something I know about! The first chart at the bottom of your page could be annovulatory to me, if you take away the cross hairs. This happens at least once a year to all of us so nothing to worry about. If it isn't annovulatory, and you had some temporary progesterone issues, the middle chart is damn near perfect, so I don't think you have anything to worry about!

On both charts, however, your luteal phase is absolutely fine and pretty healthy. 12 days is v good.

My one small piece of advice would be to increase the amount of DTD around ovulation. Not sure if you are using OPKs I can see one negative recorded but I would keep those up and when you get a positive, DTD that day, the day after and the day after that. Then, have a break for one day, before DTD one last time in case the egg takes a little longer to release.

Good luck!

Miss you all too xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx (((hugs)))

Dozygirl · 14/09/2014 10:41

I'm getting more obsessed with checking mn than I am Facebook these days haha.
CD10 today so gonna start opk testing. DP found the tests because I forgot to hide them away when they arrived. Was going to keep it a secret but never mind. He can read me like a book anyway so I'm sure he'd have found out one way or another.
Hope everyone has had a good weekend.

spinningirl10 · 14/09/2014 10:50

Hi Kitty, how are you getting on?

KittyVonCatsington · 14/09/2014 11:04

Hi spinning! I shouldn't complain considering what you are all going through, everything seems to be ok, baby-wise. Bloody hate constipation though-so unglamourous and painful! thanks for the tips MrsE, they do help!
Am 7+1 today. Pray that I get to my first scan safely this time.

My next wish is to have you all join on the Penis Dragon AN thread. My lovely ladies, shag for Penis Dragons everywhere! Wink

impatienceisavirtue · 14/09/2014 12:31

Ahhh kitty I mean this in the nicest possible way but I am so glad you've left us for the AN thread - what lovely news!

Treaclepie19 · 14/09/2014 12:36

Thanks ladies, I'm feeling much better :)
Just hoping for my bfp now!

We went to the christening this morning. It was a nice service; I can see why people are religious and go to church, but I just don't have faith. Differences are what make the world interesting.

I've got some housework and a 10 mile run to do this afternoon. I'll then be cooking DH a lasagne, which is one of his favourites.

Still no AF! She'll probably announce her presence with hideous cramps when I'm out for my run. It reminds me of the saying 'a watched pot never boils' - in this case it's 'a watched uterus never bleeds!'

Boosk · 14/09/2014 14:30

Hi everyone!
Can't quite believe I'm here after nine months of waiting to get back on the bus. TTC has been on hold due to DPs surgery followed by six months of chemo but last month he was discharged from oncology so next month we can start again.

Sorry to everyone who is here after getting kicked off the September bus. Good luck everyone and fingers crossed for autumn BFPs Wine

TTC #1 cycle2 BFP 22 Oct

spinningirl10 · 14/09/2014 14:56

Boosk, welcome back. Hope your dh is recovering well.

Proof, enjoy your run.

Kitty, so happy all is well with you, except for the constipation! Are you waiting till 12weeks for a scan?

MrsExtraOrdinary · 14/09/2014 14:57

Omg boosk what a roller coaster you must have been on. I'm so glad to see you here again as that must mean dh is well enough to give ttc a whirl. I hope you have a short journey this time with an imminent bfp. Smile

mzzzf · 14/09/2014 14:58

Right I'm hopping bus, and I'm doing it in a frustrated-teenager-like-stomp. Huuurrrummmpppfff!

Ridiculously frustrated with my womb-workings. Had spotting for 3 days at 22days for the last two cycles since coming off cerazette but no actual full-flow AF yet Confused. I've taken some HPTs and all BFNs... So I'm taking these spotting days as period and starting the recount, so as of today I'm CD7 and DTD starts in earnest!

My thinking is that either we try and DTD in time with what could be happening and potentially get lucky or we sit and wait for a proper AF, which could take months, and lose valuable time.

It's tough not knowing your exact cycle!

And whilst I don't actually believe in alternative therapies part of me wants to try reflexology mostly to have my feet massaged as I've heard great anecdotal reports. Anyone else got any alternative stuff going on?
