MrsExtraOrdinary · 13/09/2014 07:50

Thanks everyone, can't wait to start my new life. I do feel like I've been on hold for a vey long time, just waiting for it to happen. It's such a massive relief! Smile

spinningirl10 · 13/09/2014 08:32

7 days of af is not nice MrsE! Do you have a move date now? You must be so excitedGrin

MrsExtraOrdinary · 13/09/2014 09:03

25th is completion, but think we will do main move on the Saturday 27th. Managed to rope a few of my friends into furniture assembly and unpacking boxes with a fish n chip bribe. We have 8 beds, you can imagine the scenario with our family. The kids are away for that wkd so want to be liveable by Sunday night, with washing machine plumbed in etc. Dh is going to paint our bedroom Friday and carpet is being fitted in our bedroom on Saturday afternoon, so our bed will be last. It's a 6 foot sleigh bed that had to come down 4 floors in a tight squeeze town house......not panicking just yet! Shock none of dhs friends have offered to help at all. Tempted by removals but does seem a lot of money, when we have a fleet of vans.

ChandlersFarang · 13/09/2014 09:09

Yo team!! Chandlers here, checking in from a health retreat in Phuket. Spent this morning on a big fat exercise binge which finished with my first ever try at aerial yoga, where I span upside down in a weird sling and then back flipped back out!!! GrinGrinGrin was so much fun, felt like I was about 10 years old again. However it was only afterwards that I realised, being on CD2, I probably shouldn't have been hanging upside down like a bat for ages... AF's probably all up in my Fallopian tubes like a rat up a drainpipe but this realisation is not (NOT) going to disturb my zen state. Currently chilling on some rattan furniture with DH looking up a hill covered in palm trees at a giant white Buddha. DISTRACTION PAR EXCELLENCE. GrinGrinGrinGrin

MrsE - WineWine on the house!! Woop!! When do you get the keys?

Allatonce - it was the wise old owl Kitty that originally said it, but it has become my mantra which I'm spreading far and wide on MN now. Joining the oct bus brings us ALL one cycle closer to our BFPs!! Yay!! I wrote all my cycles down (with associated medical interventions) yesterday and was quite excited to think that soon I will write one down with BFP!!! next to it!! I wonder when?! Eep!!

Totally random query and I hate to get all political, but is anyone else feeling a bit depressed by all this Scottish referendum stuff?

ChandlersFarang · 13/09/2014 09:17

BLUEBERRY you are NOT a failure!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please please don't say that. And even if you feel like saying it out of exasperation, please never believe it within yourself. You cannot say you've failed at something until you've got to the end. And you're nowhere near the end, especially at your age!! You're 100% going to get there, even if it takes a bit longer, and maybe some more medical support. Do you have someone in RL that you can talk to about your feelings? Huge hugs to you!!! SmileSmileSmileSmile

gennibugs · 13/09/2014 09:44

Morning all
blueberry you are not a failure. You will get there. Some of our journeys will be longer than others but we will all get our bundle of joys. Whilst I'm ALWAYS genuinely happy for all the bfps on here, when a long timer gets one it's just wonderful. I think I'll cry when I hear some of you have got your BFP with happiness for you!!

chandlers the retreat sounds fab. I'd love to do something like that.

spinning glad the soy isn't causing any manic mood changes Grin

We have a day of house stuff them are off for an early dinner and to see a show. DH arranged it said as a surprise seeing as I was so down earlier in the week. I'll be having plenty of WineWineWine

I must say, knowing there is no way I can get a BFP this month and therefore am not symptom spotting is very liberating and freeing in a way. I realised this morning that I had cramps, had this been a previous cycle I would have been obsessing what this meant all day!

Cariad2014 · 13/09/2014 09:45

Thank you all for your kind words yesterday. They made me feel so much better. I went out and bought a new dress so I'm now feeling a bit more positive about tomorrow's baby shower.

MrsE - Huge congratulations on exchanging - I'm so excited for you Wine

MrsG - hope you're not in too much pain after your operation. Have a fabulous time in Devon.

Blueberry - you are NOT a failure and please don't think that. You will get that BFP. Enormous hugs Flowers

Chandlers - health retreat sounds ace. Loving the thought of aerial yoga! DH is Scottish and exceptionally depressed about the referendum (particularly given that we live south of the border so doesn't have a vote).

xBlueberry88x · 13/09/2014 09:53

Awwww your all so lovely!!

Chandlers you nearly made me cry at my desk at work (which has a massive window onto the street lol).
I dont have anyone that understands in real life know, DP trys but getting pg isnt his thing and most of the time he just thinks im being silly worrying so much. My mum got pregnant straight away with both me and my brother so has no idea how hard its been and my best mate hasnt even thought about kids so I rarely talk to her about it.

MrsE Yay for the exchange and not very long till completion I was so nervous when we were given our date lol. Me and DP did all our move ourselves it was knackering!!

MrsG Glad your DH is being good and helping out!!

Sorry to the ones coming over from September bus

Spinning Glad the soy isnt giving you any side effects hopefully itll help this month and you will get your bfp!

AF is a bitch she disappeared for a whole day and a bit and then reappeared this morning just after id decided she buggered off and didnt need a pad fecking hate being a woman sometimes.

Still feel crap I feel like ive been hit my a car my ribs back and chest hurt and my throat is swollen wish I could curl up in bed but nooo im at work!!

TheProofIsInThePudding · 13/09/2014 11:02

AF should be here by now, but she hasn't turned up yet. I'll not be pregnant as we haven't started trying. She's just teasing me, as I am impatient and want to get going! It's all within normal parameters, so nothing to be concerned about, just irritating.

What are you up to this weekend? Any nice plans? We're going to a christening service tomorrow. Church is not really my thing, but I'm very good friends with the mum and her faith is important to her, so I want to be there to celebrate and support.

AutumnMagic · 13/09/2014 13:23

Chandlers that sounds a little to energetic for me, lol. glad you are having a lovely chilled out time!! (??!! I dont know how hanging from an ariel upside down is fun!! Lol.) Blueberry you are sooo not a failure!! Most of us have been ttc for a while, time before this was 28mths for me. And at the moment 3 of my friends have got pregnant by "accident" Angry unbelievable!! None of them know im ttc conceive and 2 of them keep moaning at how they are so not prepared!! Feel like slapping them!! Lol. We are all here for each other so dont ever feel alone!! It will all be worth the wait!! Smile xx

Ooh chandler, sounds like you're having a fab time, enjoy.

Genni, enjoy your evening out, what show are you seeing?

Just been for a 3 hour coast walk with our German student. Hoping I've tired him out so that he's too tired for any Star Trek later Grin

MrsExtraOrdinary · 13/09/2014 15:14

Chandler you had me in stitches this morning! Lol I had a vision of you and Aunt Flo all upside down! Grin That did sound fun and you sound very upbeat, excellent!

spinningirl10 · 13/09/2014 15:20

Just ordered softcups and cb smiley ov tests from Amazon. Determined to get the egg this cycleGrin

MrsExtraOrdinary · 13/09/2014 15:27

Spinning I think this month is going to be bfp month of the year. You me and mrsG all due on the same day! Got to be lucky! Grin

MrsExtraOrdinary · 13/09/2014 16:42

Oh Lordy, it's a dilemma a day with me at the mo! Shock I just had a bucket of ewcm fall out of me. Only started testing ov on cb smily this morning and had a faint line on test but obviously it's day1 of testing. Dh is really poorly.... How on earth am I going to get him to dtd??? Confused

spinningirl10 · 13/09/2014 16:56

MrsE, get that basque on quick Wink

spinningirl10 · 13/09/2014 16:57

Ah it would be so lovely if we all get our bfp's this month and can graduate to the penis dragon an threadGrin

MrsExtraOrdinary · 13/09/2014 17:52

Spinning how did you guess? Lol Grin
I was amazed he actually managed it, he sounds like the creature from the black lagoon! ....so I got cycling afterwards and littlest ds came running in, he'd been watching tv downstairs, mummy mummy, you've lost your pants! After I explained they just fell off, he jumped on the bed and started hysterically cycling with me. I've never seen anything so funny. Nearly 3 year olds crack me up! So much better than terrible 2s!

impatienceisavirtue · 13/09/2014 18:01

Not been on for quite a little while, will read through the posts properly. I'm a bit rubbish about keeping up!

Still not pregnant since the mc in May. We are a couple of months past a year ttc now, which makes it feel, I don't know, worse somehow. I'm sulking, if you can't tell Wink

How is everyone?

MrsExtraOrdinary · 13/09/2014 18:15

Hi impatience I'm sorry you're feeling low. Some of us old timers are giving soy a go at the mo. Might be worth a try to help balance your hormones. I'm on month 2 of soy and it brought my ov forward last month and reset my previous lengthy cycles right back down to 28 days. Not for everyone of course but might be worth some thought.

Oh dear why did it do that? Blush

spinningirl10 · 13/09/2014 18:49

Hi impatience, it's tough when you've been trying for a while, hang around here with us, we'll soon cheer you up.

MrsE, I just laughed out loud at your ds comment, how sweet and well done MrE for getting the job doneGrin

Aprilray · 13/09/2014 21:08

FX you get your BFP on the September bus Sunbathing! thanks for the updated stats.

Hi Impatience I hope you don't have to wait much longer for your BFP. The October bus is going to be so lucky. The witch will be too busy with Halloween to get us.

CD5 here and not much to report on the ttc front. Looking forward to cracking open my freebie CBOPKS on Wednesday. Ordered a relaxation and positive visualisation ttc CD and it arrived today. Was shorter than I thought but that's not a bad thing as it means it will be easy to do every day. Positivity and visualisation are my ttc buzz words this month. Am visualising my follicles getting ready to release a super duper egg Smile

In non ttc related news I got my hair cut off today. It is below my shoulder for the first time since I can remember. Gonna take some getting used to. DH thought I was just going for a trim so will have a shock when he gets in!
