TTC for DD September 2015 onwards, need help with dates

So I know it could take a long time to happen but I don't want a baby born in August. My sister had severe learning problems and being youngest in her class with an August birthday seemed to make it much worse. In the end she had to be held back a year and get special dispensation for sitting her GSCEs a year late.

So I am trying to aim for October birth with 4 week buffer incase premature, so then has September birthday. Also want an elective c section so need to factor in that they might do it at ? 38 weeks?

I had a trial run this year of coming off the pill to check my fertility and my 1st cycle was 42 days. I have PCOS and have been told to start TTC on first cycle and not wait as my cysts got really bad within 2 months off pill.

So I think if I come off the pill Mid December and TTC that cycle DD would be October? Is that right? With a normal cycle DD would be mid September?

If you came off mid December and conceived 14 days later, actually, it would be end of September due date (remember to count from the last day of missed period). To be honest, coming off the pill then would be risky as it would mean you have no idea when or if you would ovulate before your first AF. You might want to come off the pill November and uses condoms till AF appears.

That is, if you even conceive then. I came off the pill last October and still TTC with one chemical pregnancy in February. It can take a while.

I am also a teacher and would like to re-assure you that schooling for August born's has changed dramatically since your sister was at school. That, and not every August born will struggle-my top Year 13 kid with 1A* and 3As this year had a birthday of 31st August.
