I am totally and utterly confused with ovulation.

Last cycle I was CD18 when I ovulated according to Clearblue Digi Ovulation Test. AF then arrived on CD 32. Now cycle lengths vary between 28-37 days but have been known to go as long as 43 days. Anyway I worked out that I would roughly ovulate this month on CD17, 18, 19 if I was to have a 32 day cycle. Anyway I am now on CD21 and no ovulation according to sticks.

Does this possibly mean that I have not ovulated this month? Can you go a month witout ovulating and if so, is this healthy? Will I have af?

Sorry for being so "thick" but completely confused and all the sex education I was taught has gone a blank!

Thanks

Some months you don't ovulate at all.

We were trying for 18months and I always used the ovulation sticks (clearblue and first response) and we went mad for it during the times those tests were positive but the time I actually got pregnant the sticks came back negitive.

In my experiance I wouldn't bother using the ovulation tests as for me they were a waste of time! I was in massive shock when my pregnancy test came back positive as we had only had sex once that month (TMI!) and the ovulation test had shown negative but that was obviously wrong!

Don't worry to much about getting it spot on each month, just had lots of sex and lots of fun and it will happen!
