So after my earlier drama of peeing on the window, I did a second test (from a pot this time!) and still had a positive.

I still don't really believe it! I might get a digital test tomorrow to be super sure! But surely 2 positives has got to be pretty safe?

I don't really think it has sunk in yet! But at least I know there's not something wrong with me as all the symptoms we're getting me worried!

What to do next?!?

Congratulations Thanks

Yes. You are indeed pregnant.
Spend money on a digital test only if you have it going spare IME Grin

Here you self-refer directly to the Community Midwives. This might be different in other areas of course. Contact your GP tomorrow - they'll tell you.

Are you taking Folic acid and Vitamin D?
Good luck.

Roses87 · 17/08/2014 16:02

Thank you!

I've been taking a pre conception multi vitamin so I will order some different ones now.

I'll call the doctors t

Congratulations!! :)
At my local surgery we self refer to midwife care too, with my first pregnancy I went to see the go and he was like "what do you need me for? I'll tell you what, I'll prescribe you some colic acid so it wasn't a wasted appointment for you and me" Hmm

CherryPie3 · 17/08/2014 20:35

gp
Bloody autocorrect.

chickadee87 · 17/08/2014 21:25

Congratulations Roses87!

cherrypie I can't beleive your GP said that to you! How unhelpful.

CherryPie3 · 17/08/2014 23:05

Just realised it corrected to colic acid. I'm sure you got the gist lol.

Yeah he was a bit useless to be honest, he's left the practice now and we have lovely doctors. My mum once had a go at him because she was suffering with really bad depression and he was tapping on his computer instead of listening - she banged her fist on the desk a few times. That made him sit up a bit straighter Grin

I'm in same boat! Took too tests but I still don't believe it! Gonna ring doctors today.
I'm scared/excited we both sort of got happy the fact it finally happened. Then sat like no can't be true have to check that 1st haha.

Congratulations!!! ??

Ditto...!!! I have had a faint line on cheapies since yesterday - AF not due until Wednesday but have just 'felt' pregnant without any distinct symptoms (I have a 11mo). DH bought a clearblue this morning and positive 3 days before. Although not entirely planned, we are tremendously excited!!! EDD 29th April :-) Do I just ring the MW this time rather than booking a GP appointment as I did with DC1? Spread the baby dust xxx
