Can someone just tell me it is not a line

Been ttc for a few months now and have been feeling pretty rotten all this month :( nausea, backache, bloatedness, no appetite, massive appetite etc etc - haven't had the boob pain which I know is a biggy.

Anyway, AF is due tomorrow and as I couldn't wait I tested today and yesterday (lol), yesterday I was convinced I wasn't then today I have managed to convince myself I am :( feeling so down in the dumps.

Attached a pic of my two tests convinced that one has the faintest line but still have my usual period pains. Can someone convince me I'm imagining it? I have seen some folk put up pics and u guys seem to be able to say yes or no quickly.

Also the tests have to be written off after 15mins hey??? Maybe I waited too long and that's why I'm imagining lines.

Or maybe I have a line drawn down my eyeball that is making me see lines. Anyway someone tell me to pack tampons and get on with my life.

I can't see anything, but then I NEVER see a line.

So looking at my photo there is no line is there??? Haha. How daft am I???

Thanks Xxed! That's what I needed, I never see ANYTHING on anyone's pics but totally convinced myself I could see a line.

Tampons in bag... Time to leave and stop being so silly :( I think in future I will wait till after AF is due, the witch is clockwork so I should really have known better!

The only thing I remember when very first pg was that I felt like my period was on its way!

Can't see the pictures too well on my phone but I can't say for sure there isn't a line, looks like there's something on the picture.

I can't really see but think you should test again tomorrow if you don't get your period.

Right... Right... Thanks so much girls. I do feel AF is on her way. Will test again in the morning. Hubby thinks I have lost the plot.

Would a line show if it had been lying there for a wee while??? Like the test says after 15mins disregard it? I'm gonna wait till tomorrow, put my sensible head on.

Top test has a feint line!

Not straight away... 3boys&3dogs maybe after a minute or so.

Think the packs usually say to disregard any results obtained after 10 (I think) minutes.

Big un-mumsnetty hugs. Going through the same, also driving myself crazy with it.

Sorry just saw your last post - my packs say it can take around 5 mins I think to show up.

Top test looks like there is a faint line, but I've had one with a very faint line and then had af. Hope you get the result you want

If it appeared after a minute then it could well be a positive. The tests tell you to ignore after 10/15 so you don't read an evaporation line as positive. My faint line 2 days before af was due is 9 months old now! I woke my oh up to show him the line, he squinted at it, grumpily said there was nothing to see and went back to sleep ! Test again tomorrow or Monday.

What is an evap line??? Like would an evap line be pink???

As water in the urine evaporates into the air, the fibres in the stick shrink back a bit and tiny bits of dye/salts in the urine/bits of protein in the urine can be pulled together and form what looks like a faint line.

Ahhhh ok. I'm pretty sure any line I seen then was an evap line. Wish AF would just show up and put me put my misery lol x
