And I'm out!

The witch is here! Just got up, peed on yet another stick just in case a miracle occurred! and wiped to find full flow!

Nothing on my pad though, bloody sneaky AF!

Off to September. It's my last try before stopping for 9 months.

I'm going to have to come up with a plan for this month!

Screw you AF! Screw you!

MaGratgarlik1983 · 21/08/2014 17:46

Oh no detective - that sucks! At least you can get on with the next cycle now though (although not much consolation right now I know). And at least you can have a Wine or several tonight :)

TheDetective · 21/08/2014 17:51

If I wasn't going to work Grin!

Gaaaaaah!

Last night shift. Then 2 weeks off. So no shifts to worry about trying to fit DTD around! Yay!

TheDetective · 21/08/2014 17:53

Can people talk to me about taking temps and what not? And the charts?

I need to go all put this month! Lucky DP ;)

TheDetective · 21/08/2014 17:53

And can I temp when I will be doing night shifts?

MrsBeeBeeBee · 21/08/2014 18:21

Hello ladies!
sorry to hear you're out detective.

looking forward to some BFPs in the last part of this month.

kitty when are you testing?

I'm 8dpo. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Ladies what do you do about alcohol etc in 2ww? I normally don't really drink in 2nd half of cycle but I got some fab news today and have prosecco in the fridge.... so am thinking of a cheeky couple of glasses. Not sure if I'll regret it though if we did get a BFP.

jazzyjenbo · 21/08/2014 18:25

The detective, this is me atm, been researching temping and chatting with sept girls and another group on fb that i'm a part of.
You can temp if you have had approx 4 hrs sleep and do it as soon as u wake. A f thermometer is better than a c as it has more ...points so more accurate.
You can chart in ovia or can download from dr google.
I bought some epo today and will now take until opk pick up surge. Opking from end of af as i need to pinpoint ovulation.
Gud luck to all still on this bus, there are alot of positive signs out there.
Katy, hope u are ok? Not sure how to read your silence today, hopefully ur busy dtd Wink

TheGrandHighWitch · 21/08/2014 18:31

Sorry to hear that TheDetective. I don't profess to be an expert in temping but afaik, shift work will play havoc with your temps and make it harder to track ovulation. Hopefully the two weeks off will get you to ovulation with as stable a temp as possible.

KittyVonCatsington · 21/08/2014 18:35

Oops, sorry Blush
So sorry AF the bitch got you Detective Sad What jazzy says is right so night shifts, if regular shouldn't make a difference. Get a basal thermometer to two decimal places and the best temps are done vaginally. I use Fertility Friend to plot my temps and all the other symptoms and things like opks. V good.

Glad you are further in the tww Grand the days drag!

If AF doesn't arrive I will test Sunday morning Grin

I don't do regular nights as such. I just get given random shifts it seems!. So tonight is my last night. Then off until 8th sept when I'm on for 3 nights, off for 2 days, on for 4 nights, then I've got a week with mixed night and day shifts!!!

At least I might be able to track ovulation. However I won't be able to start temps til sat morning. Which is CD3? (Do you count CD1 as the first day of your period?)

I've got my thermometer already, purchased with last months opks/hpts!

I need more tests though. I may have gone through the 30 of each in one month Blush.

I didn't know to use it vaginally though Grin.

Does it have to be done at the same time each day?

bubalou · 21/08/2014 19:02

So I'm either coming down with something or I'm having symptoms but I've already convinced myself I'm not.

I've got dizziness / vertigo and the smell of dh's aftershave today and whilst cooking dinner were really strong and everything smelt weird - such as when I was chopping the garlic.

Maybe I'm reading too much into it all.

Won't test until Monday though. Confused

gennibugs · 21/08/2014 19:20

waves at kitty - hope you are having a lovely hols!

love your spamming of the board Grin

gennibugs · 21/08/2014 19:21

angelaham · 21/08/2014 20:37

Yay Sarah! Congrats :-)
What dpo did you get your bfp if you don't mind me asking?

Sarahg1 · 21/08/2014 21:28

Ah thanks everyone. Nervous but excited!

I got what can only be described as the world's faintest line on an ic at 11 dpo at night, and another near identical one the next morning. Then did a frer at 12 dpo and got a clear but not especially dark line and just done another with DH (today is 13 dpo, AF due tmrw) and it was a little darker so finally ready to believe it...
