Hooray for Sarah! Congraulations. Very pleased for you.

Laughing at Kittys attempts not to spam us! But your symptoms sound positive - looking forward to a BFP for you on Monday. Wouldn't that be wonderful!

Detective - oh no, AF! I am a novice at temping, just started this cycle. Not sure how accurate it is as we had a lot of disrupted nights due to poorly toddler, so I was either very restless or waking up and taking the temp at different times. (No way I am setting an alarm with a toddler!) However, I seem to have had a dramatic temp increase at CD14 that Fertility Friend is calling ovulation, so I hope it's accurate. 7DPO here and temp is still high. I like temping, actually, feel like something to do that just provides information - nothing hinges on a big POSITIVE or NEGATIVE. I just do orally though.

A bit of symptom spotting yesterday - wave of nausea and lots of dizziness (nausea v v unusual) and recurrent weird feeling of swollen left breast! Probably nothing. Will wait until 14DPO to test if AF doesn't arrive first.

MrsBee, I probably should change but I haven't adjusted my alcohol intake at all while TTC. Just my luck that I would abstain it would take a year to conceive. With my DD I went on a bender in Istanbul about 2 days before AF was due (and never arrived)... I would say if you have good news and some prosecco, go for it. (And congrats on the good news!)

Congratulations Sarah!! GrinGrin

bubalou · 22/08/2014 07:21

Congratulations Sarah Smile

I'm desperately holding off testing until Monday - as is my deal with 'comeawaywithme' Wink

Finding it so hard to wait. I'm not a patient person by nature and the first response tests keep mocking me and taunting me from the drawer they are in.

Only 9dpo and Af not due until 28th so must hold off until then. Blush

teachermummy2b · 22/08/2014 07:36

Congratulations Sarah!
Sorry AF got you Detective.
No news here either way. ..

teachermummy2b · 22/08/2014 07:39

And thanks for your reply sunbathing - do you reckon you ovulated later that cycle or just had v low levels of hcg?

spinningirl10 · 22/08/2014 08:11

JaneyTea · 22/08/2014 08:38

CD32 here. Cycle length is usually 29-30 days, but is occasionally longer.

Tested this morning on an IC and seemed to have the squintiest of a line. Tried a Superdrug test and there is a line, (I think there's a line anyway, I keep checking every five minutes)!

Argh! This month was such a disaster for us in terms of TTC, as DP had developed some performance issues, which was pretty stressful for both of us. Wrote this month off, to the extent that I went out last Friday night and had several gin and tonics.

Doubting the line hugely..... Confused

janey I'm on my phone but I can see a line clearly. Congratulations! A line is a line

JackieBrambles · 22/08/2014 08:40

Janey I think we might need to look at the line!

AF in full flow here. Really confused about my cycle length now! Think I might start temping (thanks for the link Sunbathing).

Do I start temping now or is it best to wait until AF is over? And what sort of themometer do I need?

JackieBrambles · 22/08/2014 08:41

x posts - hell yes that's a line! Congratulations! Grin

TheGrandHighWitch · 22/08/2014 09:34

ChandlersFarang · 22/08/2014 10:10

That's a whopper of a line Janey!!! Wahoo!! Just goes to show that despite your trials and tribulations this cycle it only takes 1 swimmer!! GrinGrin

Once you've finished dancing around the bathroom, don't forget to send us TTC obsessives your stats! Smile

MaGratgarlik1983 · 22/08/2014 10:48

Congrats to Sarah and Janet! For anyone asking about temping, I have started doing it a few days ago and got a great pack of stuff on amazon - loads of opks and hpts (ICs) and a thermometer from babymad all for a tenner. It seems to work fine - it's digital in centigrade as I can't work F out at all! I'm still waiting here, CD33, no sign of AF but still bfn on the tests. Still have symptoms - strong sense of smell, dizzy spells, a very cuddly cat, milky cm, waves of nausea when hungry, but still no news either way. Really don't want to get my hopes up in case it's just AF playing tricks with me! I had a positive opk on Tues so maybe I just ovulated late (so DTD jic!!) - who knows anymore!!

Siarie · 22/08/2014 11:20

www.fertilityfriend.com/videos.html

If anyone is interested in temping watch the video's by Fertility friend linked above. I highly recommend it, as it has helped me know exactly what was going on after coming off birth control.

You can also download their app and use it on your phone or a laptop/desktop to record your temps each morning.

Hope that helps!

Thank you for all the congratulations. I am mostly sitting at work with this face Shock then this one Grin then Confused.

chandlers what stats would you like?! We DTD on cd 11, 15, 16 and 18 and I think I ov-ed on cd16. In terms of symptoms, I've been feeling like I've been coming down with a cold this week, (which of course, could just be a cold) and was so tired that I fell asleep half way through GBBO! What made me test was more the absence of PMS symptoms that I usually get, rather than any new symptoms.

Congratulations to you Sarah Flowers

Nora42 · 22/08/2014 11:36

Congrats Sarah & Janey, that's fab news!

I'm still experiencing weird symptoms. AF currently is a little late but I'm holding off testing until the morning - if not Sunday just to be sure.

Fingers crossed for all of you still waiting.

ChandlersFarang · 22/08/2014 12:11

Those are just perfect Janey, superb work!! Hope you're more Grin than Confused for the next 9 months x x x

Thanks angel u never know and hubbie and I agree we'll just keep trying.

Sunbathing I came off pill in may after 17 yrs no breaks. I stupidly thought I would fall immediately. Cycle 1 51 days, cycle 2 25 days, cycle 3 27 days and counting bfn today.

I guess all we can do is keep on keeping on. This is first cycle I have had ewcm so maybe this is first cycle I have ovulated I've had loads of cramps from cd 13 to now. Worst was cd 14-16 on right side and now cd 26 and 27 on left side sbd this is when had ewcm so just have to wait and see as long as cycle less than. 42 days cbfm is purchased and we will start using. Trying to relax about it now as I guess I can't control this much as I keep trying!
