I'm off to sleep after another bfn this morning! Still no sign of AF. No more spotting.

Gah! Come on body! Just tell me what you are up to!

Hope for some BFP's today... It's been a while?!

JackieBrambles · 21/08/2014 08:22

I had been wondering that Chandlers, since AF is soooo early. But then its probably just me getting my hopes up! It was my first time using OPKs this month and I got a positive one on CD14 so DTD that night.

If I've got AF already on DPO10 I don't know what that means really! Does it mean a short luteal phase? Its all a bit confusing really.

JackieBrambles · 21/08/2014 08:23

TheDetective i've got a couple of friends who didn't get BFPs until they were over 2 weeks late! Got my fingers crossed for you.

ohlordyplordy · 21/08/2014 08:47

6dpo here and no noticeable symptoms - tender nipples and thick cm but they could that be post iv/ pre af.
However I did have a major temp dip yesterday - I went from 97.7, 97.6, 96.9 and back up to 97.8 this am. Dr goigle says 5dpo temp dip could be implantation but could also be nothing, so still sitting out tww.

ohlordyplordy · 21/08/2014 08:53

On a random note, I'm usong ovia to track my fertlity. As well as filling in data daily it emails me a question each day, such as every diagnosed pcos? Today's question is what is your gender?! Wtf!

gennibugs · 21/08/2014 09:07

Morning all.

Got a bfn at 11dpo on an ic so reckon I'm out. Sad

detective fx for you!

katy did you poas this morning?

Surely we are due a last flurry of bfps!

JackieBrambles · 21/08/2014 09:20

Nah Genni you aren't out until AF arrives! Fingers crossed for you.

Blueskygirl30 · 21/08/2014 09:46

Morning,

Genni you're not out until AF arrives, lots of pregnant ladies don't get their BFP at 11dpo, don't give up yet!

As for me, I tested at 0500 and got a BFN, then checked my temp at 0900 and it had gone back up above base line. I was optimistic for about 2 minutes before I realised the witch had arrived....I was so sure his month! I think next month I need to just not think about it at all. It's so hard when you've got your hopes up. So I'm off to the September bus, I'll check in on you to see how you all do for the remainder of the month! Good luck!

obsessed1 · 21/08/2014 09:52

Hello! I realise it's a bit late in the day, but would you mind if I join in?

My DH and I aren't planning on actively trying until December, but I had implannon removed in January so a BFP is possible... and until I took my BT I had convinced myself that I could be this month.

I am beginning to track my cycle (never took any notice in the past) and have just bought a basal thermometer this week. I was a bit concerned that my BBT is so low - just 35.95 yesterday, and 36.2 today. I'm going to get this checked out, as from what I've read so far I'm concerned that it might mean I have possible thyroid issues.

But my more immediate question is, does anyone know if this low temp definitely rules out a pregnancy this month? Is it possible that my this could be relatively high for me, and that had I been tracking longer my temp may have been even lower prior to ovulation?

I have 5 days in theory until I can POAS, though my cycle seems to have been so irregular since I've been taking it these last 3 months (25, 27, 22) that it I don't really know where I am. I just want to put myself out of my misery, if this definitely means I will be a BFN, I would rather know now so I can stop obsessing.

Any thoughts on this low temperature / pregnancy thing greatly appreciated as I'm driving myself crazy here!!! Thank you in advance!! :)

teachermummy2b · 21/08/2014 10:18

Think I am out... just had another bfn at 17dpo :(
Feel weepy & emotional. Also have a sort of pressure feeling above pubic bone and when I checked cervix cm was creamy with tiny specks of red (sorry for tmi). So guessing af about to put in an appearance :(

Will hop on the September bus when I get home. Good luck to anyone still in limbo.

ohlordyplordy · 21/08/2014 10:23

So sorry to those of you with af; good luck in September x
Bfns, you still have time, it isn't over until af shows up, fx.

JackieBrambles · 21/08/2014 13:01

Sorry to hear that Teachermummy, hugs for you. Until she comes in full flow though you might still be in with a chance?

My AF appears to have stopped. Brown spotting yesterday lunchtime, nothing really last night but then a bit of red this morning on wiping. I used a light tampon but not much was absorbed. Since then, nothing. Hmmm.

Last month my period started a bit like this, got the brown stuff on the thursday and then full on flow came 3 days later! Sorry for TMI.

If I don't get the full on flow by sat I might take another test but I suspect full flow will come tomorrow.

So nice to rant here, but we need a bfp to cheer us up now!!

CD 24 here (usually 25/26 although last month was 28) and nothing to report. My abdomen has felt a bit tender for the last week or so, but other than that, it's business as usual. None of the usual pre-AF behaviour - no irrational anger, obsessive carb eating, general grumpiness. I've got a personal training session at the gym later and can't decide if flinging kettlebells around is a good idea or not Hmm Confused!

Hoping for some good news for those of us still sitting in limbo land...

MaGratgarlik1983 · 21/08/2014 13:50

I'm 1-2 days late now and no news either way! Sill having some cm but the opks have turned negative - trying to work out if I ovulated yesterday or just a bit late for AF? Have just started temping and they seem low but I haven't got anything to compare it to control wise. It's ironic though as I'm always warm and rarely get chilly like some people! Weird.

teachermummy2b · 21/08/2014 14:58

Ooh sunbathing when did you finally get your bfp??

Jackie just when you think you know where you are your body decides to play tricks! Apart from a couple of red spots earlier there is now nothing! So maybe not af after all?

Gah! Thought it would be easier than this! Confused

FoscarC · 21/08/2014 15:12

Hi. Just looking back to see how everyone is getting on. Still recognise a few names on here. Hope you guys are getting on ok. Any BFPs from people off the July bus since I left? I do hope so.

TheGrandHighWitch · 21/08/2014 15:20

Hi FoscarC, good to 'see' you. No BFP from me (yet Wink), hopefully one will be forthcoming at the end of this month/beginning of September. How are you getting on? Does it feel any less daunting for you now?

FoscarC · 21/08/2014 15:26

Not at all grandhigh had my
12 week scan yesterday which was petrifying. I was convinced there'd be no baby or something awful. But there was and it was brilliant. Starting to relax and enjoy it more now I've seen it. Am 13 weeks today so no longer feeling sick and exhausted. Telling my family this weekend - we didn't want to tell anyone until after the scan. Fingers crossed for you this month.

KittyVonCatsington · 21/08/2014 15:53

Hi Foscar! Great news on the scan

MrsG The opk you took has confused you but we often get an lh surge just before AF it's just we don't often test that late. I highly doubt you have just ovulated. AF could just be taking it's time, or your ov date is one or two days out or you will get your BFP. Always have hope until AF shows. Same goes for you too genni my lovely!
obsessed As this is your first cycle bbt, it is hard to say if the temp is normal for you. It certainly doesn't rule out pregnancy but (and I'm sorry if this is patronising) you need a whole cycle to get a true picture of your temp shift - take your temp at the same time every morning and vaginally if possible. Then, after a few cycles you will see your pattern. Hope you don't have to wait a few cycles though!

Hi Grand English and Chandlers et al. We're all getting closer to our goal! My nausea is getting more and more prevalent at 12dpo and have been peeing non stop since the middle of the night. All encouraging but all symptoms of other things too Wink Had a sea food platter for lunch-hoping to envoke the law of sod!
Sorry if I'm not replying to many of you, struggling to mumsnet using my little Windows phone! Will properly catch up this wknd xx

Alright Kitty we heard you, no need to repeat yourself Grin. FX for some good news for you as it does sound promising. I hope you are enjoying your break (although it'll be nice to have you back here with us too). When are you planning to test?

FoscarC, super good news for the scan. They are always petrifying before you go in (just to prepare you for the big 20 week one Wink) but it sounds like you can try to relax more now you've had some reassurance that all is well so that's good. Like you, I am planning on keeping a BFP a secret until after the scan as I know my PIL's won't be pleased (they think we should stick to two but screw them lol). Have told MrTGHW that it's because existing dc should know first but don't want to risk having to give them bad news by telling them earlier iyswim.

Not much going on for me atm. Am finally on 4dpo after my 3dpo groundhog day and temps are staying up so far. I am having creamy cm still (I know that isn't unusual at this point so not getting too excited about it) which I think is a bit different for me if memory serves so hopefully things going well progesterone wise at least.
