Here, we go, nice new thread.
Might be helpful to have some stats so we know where we all are?

I will start, farfallarocks - TTC#2, cycle 11. 1st brooking baby DD, 21 months. Investigations reveal high FSH and potentially starting IVF.

Strictly fan here

Imps9 · 09/09/2014 08:02

Peed on a FRER and an IC - both seem to think I am diffed, so that's good! Didn't sleep a wink - too many thoughts swirling around my brain. Hopefully will be better when I have someone IRL to talk to it about (i.e. Mr Imps). You don't think it's wrong to keep it from him until he's back do you?

Pasta - your views on the couples? I heart Mr Kevin from Grimsby, but less keen on Frankie so bit disappointed about that. He would have been a fab pairing with Alison but there we go. Jennifer and Tristan will be fun I think and Scott and Joanne from Grimsby. Ooooh I can't wait!!!

cartoontrickster · 09/09/2014 08:10

how are the lines this morning imps? assuming you've done one this morn I would have several
yes that's very dh Haha he gets a bit funny if I bring things up face to face. we will defo attempt another but there are things I'm not sure about. he just wanted me to know he was happy to try now if I wanted aparently.

cartoontrickster · 09/09/2014 08:11

x post yay for more positive tests Grin

NoMaybeAboutIt · 09/09/2014 09:09

Yay for more tests Imps!!!

MrI is going to be so chuffed!! Not wrong waiting, I would too. You need to see his reaction which will hopefully be better than MrMs

Also a strictly fan, though I only really discovered it a couple of years ago. I've realised that I have a thing for Jake Blush

Imps9 · 09/09/2014 09:38

Is that Eastenders man?

What was Mr M's reaction? I was AWOL during that time sadly :(

farfallarocks · 09/09/2014 10:11

imps amazing news and I would keep quiet for shiz. Can you go and have a little scan at 6/7 weeks for reassurance before you fess up?

I love the fact the brokers know before Mr Imps, not the first time that has happened!!

cartoon, bring it on!!!!

DH is off on business during my fertile window, gah, another wasted month. Also means we had to move IVF appointment. Double gah!!!!

NoMaybeAboutIt · 09/09/2014 11:14

That's rubbish Far Confused

Yes Imps. Max from eastenders

Well, I peed in an empty cheesecake pot. His reaction was 'could the cheesecake make it positive'. Not the reaction I was hoping for Grin

Imps9 · 09/09/2014 11:19

I share your Eastenders Man crush! He has a v sexy voice and an element of bad boy about him. Still prefer Kevin though

That is brilliant re: pregnant cheesecake! I love it. Men are pure comedy geniuses sometimes! :D

Imps9 · 09/09/2014 11:22

Oh and far meant to add - that is bloody annoying re: DH's work trip. Another month always seems like such a bloody long time, doesn't it. Have you done all the tests now? Is the appointment to confirm referral for IVF or the first IVF appointment? How is Mr F feeling about the prospect?

Imps9 · 09/09/2014 11:24

Ps I just went into loos at work for a quick fondue of my boobs - they still don't really hurt but I think they feel firmer/fuller. I'm worried about them, if I'm honest.

musicalmrs · 09/09/2014 11:56

Oh my goodness - I can't get on here for a few days (wouldn't accept my password for some reason) and come back to this news!?

Imps - so so fabulous! So pleased for you lovely :) I'd attempt some gymnastics, but since I can barely walk at the moment I'll leave you with the other brookers' displays Grin How're you feeling?

Far - lots of hugs to you. I know exactly what you mean - it's ridiculous, but I felt a little downheartened at the news about Kate too - and I'm pregnant. Other people's scans and announcements still get me (again, not those of Brookers!), even after all this time - I think it's partially because I know it upsets other people too (as well as me) if you see what I mean?

Geek, I realise you may not read this, but have been thinking of you lots.

musicalmrs · 09/09/2014 11:59

Oh Imps fingers! Boob fondue?! I dread to think what that could be Wink

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 09/09/2014 12:33

Bahahaha, I shall look out for boob fondu Wink So pleased to hear about more positive tests.

Maybe Mr M is hilarious!!!!!!

Also.a strictly fan here, loving most of the pairings this year but for no rational reason I don't like Karen or the odd looking one who got paired with man god Tom

farfallarocks · 09/09/2014 13:26

How did I miss the Mr Maybe cheesecakegate? Wonderful.
There was a thread on here about pepsi turning a test positive and apparently it can!

Anyway, appointment is first appointment with ARGC which is scary IVF bootcamp place but has great stats and it worked for Solars!

We could start straight away at The Lister but I want to see what ARGC say first as their stats are so convincing. They want to repeat DH's test again which he will hate!
Anyway, I would not mind so much if it was just one month but we have missed about 4 months in a row due to travel, DH not being up for it, back injuries etc. Mr F going along with it but it certainly does not dominate his thoughts like it does mine. I am trying to keep it on the low down for matrimonial harmony. The truth is TTC brings out the worst in us.

imps sore boobs don't happen for everyone and even then come and go as a symptom. Can you go and have some beta HCGs done (privately so IVF people need never know!).

Fondue!!! Lol! Definitely don't think we'll be seeing those on the menu anytime soon.

Oh Far it's beyond frustrating. If you knew when exactly you would be diffed with Far2 (e.g. "You will get your BFP on 12 December 2014") then it would make it so much easier to deal with, even if it was a few months away. It's the not knowing and seeing no light at the end of the tunnel which makes it such a challenge. You are by no means the only couple who aren't at their couply best during TTC. In fact, I would wager that getting along and being happy happy all of the time in long-term TTC just doesn't ever happen.

keepitgoing · 09/09/2014 14:19

far I hated missing a month... imps you're right, even if you knew it'd take ages at least if you knew you'd get there it'd be easier. far didn't you get preg quite quickly first time but had Mc? I reckon you guys can still do it... can I ask, is it any easier second time round? ie you have minifar even if (not true for you) you couldn't have a second. and you also know you can get pg so it's more a matter of time? or is that dillusioned on my part...

referral gone in to the Hosp. so now we wait. nhs Hosp but we are paying. will we have the same timescales as nhs patients? I'm not in a rush, apart from anything else I'm still bf..

farfallarocks · 09/09/2014 14:36

Yes even if it was a year away it would be fine!

keep first time round I did get preggo fairly easily, usually within 3/4 months of trying but would MC. I am still hopeful we can do it naturally but my FSH and AMH numbers are now not great so I think that is the problem (my eggs). It is definitely easier 2nd time round, I am a mother and I am so grateful for DD, I don't cry myself to sleep as I did first time round wondering if I would ever have a baby. I was really relaxed at first, but now after a year, knowing there is a problem and DH being less than cooperative, I can feel the same feeling of panic creep in. The longing for another child is very very strong but equally I know how lucky I am to have DD. I know I am being greedy, but these babies are likes pringles.....

OOOOOOOOHHHHHHH MY RIGHT NIPPLE. MY GOD. OOOOOWWWWWWWWWWW. It feels like someone's putting a 240v through it. Fucking hell. I take it back re: no sore boobs.

NoMaybeAboutIt · 09/09/2014 15:55

How much longer Musical?!

Imps, don't worry about the boobs. Mine hurt some days, but more often than not, they felt normal. Until they ballooned at around 10 weeks Shock

NoMaybeAboutIt · 09/09/2014 16:00

Aaaahh!! Bloody new app thing! I missed loads of posts again!!

Imps, I'm pleased I'm not alone with my fetish.

Far, it's so frustrating missing a month. You will feel much better bout things after your first appointment. Feels good to have a plan in place.

Yes, MrM is quite something. I'm sure you'll all remember the ovulation conversation....

Ooh, and yay for electric nipple. When mine hurt, that's exactly what happened. Is actually have to grab them immediately, wherever that may have been.... Blush

Imps9 · 09/09/2014 20:41

Remind me of the ovulation conversation Maybe...

NoMaybeAboutIt · 09/09/2014 21:49

It went along the lines of 'but you ovulate every time you orgasm, right?'

Another classic 'every time you sneeze you die'

I'm not sure where MrM got his biological knowledge from Hmm

Imps9 · 09/09/2014 22:07

HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA AAAAAAAAA!!!!!!! That's one of the funniest things I've heard in a really long time! Bless him.

NoMaybeAboutIt · 09/09/2014 22:37

It's effortless Imps Grin
