Might be helpful to have some stats so we know where we all are?

I will start, farfallarocks - TTC#2, cycle 11. 1st brooking baby DD, 21 months. Investigations reveal high FSH and potentially starting IVF.

Hi all, stabbing is fine, the actual injections are no bother.
I am also on Viagra and Clomid to give my ovaries a boost. DH thinks its hilarious and is hoping there will be some Viagra left over for him to try. It would certainly feel wasted at this stage!! Feeling shattered but other than that fine for now!

Keep and cartoon I felt so emotional last year when little far turned one and very nostalgic for the year that had just passed, its very normal.
I don't think there is ever a right time to try really but I definitely had the pang when little far turned one!

It's Tuesday night and I'm drunk. I fucking love holidays.

happy the stabbings are going well far you will have to excuse me because I still don't understand how the whole thing works
N is one 8wks from today how is that even possible. I get teary just thinking about it and its still 2months away really.
I think we will try for another at some point next year, but perhaps more likely not until the second half of the year.

i just cross my fingers and hope i am vaguely saying the right thing keep! haha. How are you getting on with your clinic and getting the frosties back here?
maybe i am very impatient i don't like waiting for anything i miss having a newborn but there's something niggling at me that I'm not sure of .

How did your interview go Keep?

imps I loved your little update, did you have fun? Sounds like it!

I am on day 10 of stims and I feel fine, almost too fine, no bloating or anything. The follies are not doing brilliantly, only 2 looking like they will be ok for collection, all the others are just not catching up in time. So I think this hugely reduces the chances of success but I am trying to keep positive as it only takes one!!!

far the others might have a growth spurt... good you have 2 juicy ones. I didn't feel bad, just tired. have they suggested when EC will be?

no, I have to get a job by Feb as dh is going pt and we won't have enough money

I am hoping so, they have changed the medication slightly but I just know its not good news, everyone around me in the clinic is aiming for 10-15 eggs and they have 7 each side etc etc. Still, its not over until its over and I am manically eating protein!
EC should be in the 3 days, I have more scans this afternoon I think to establish the best time to trigger. Its all getting very real and scary!

my job hunt isn't going so well either keep but i think I'm actually just going to leave it till the new year. we have some savings so can live of that for a sort while if we have to. its horrible i just want to stay home with N.

Ah cartoon I feel your pain, the thought of going back to work was always worse than the reality for me but it is so hard leaving them.

Still only 2 follicles, back in again today and may trigger tonight or tomorrow. I am trying to stay positive with the brooking spirit but the stats are pretty abysmal for 2 eggs collected, something like 10% chance of a pregnancy :(

Keep and Cartoon sorry that job hunting is proving to be tough. What sort of work/hours are you looking for? I imagine that going back to work after mat leave would be very tough but money is a necessity eh? Esp when even basic stuff is so bloody expensive these days.

Far my love brooking brooking brooking. Think not about the 10% too much - after all, something like only 10% of couples won't have conceived naturally within 18 months of trying and there are plenty of us who've fallen into that bracket. If we can be the in 10% of that, you can be in the 10% of pregnancies from 2 follies. BROOK NO ARGUMENT, do you hear me? Any news re: stimming?

Pasta how are you and bump? Is your DH still job hunting or did he find somewhere?

AFM I had a fab fab fab holibobs! So sad to be back to reality. No Cornish baby for us though - not ovulated yet although should do tomorrow as the ov pains I've been having today are intense. Prob not much scope for a shag tonight as Mr I will be home late and tired. Bah well, IVF appt in 2 weeks so it's still all go!

My friends, I have had the clearest possible signs that I too am officially with child. Last night in my dream I got a clear and solid BFP, the scan showed 2 feet (one large and one small and both left feet) and I told my boss that I was pregnant and he completely freaked out as he will do in real life. Then to top it off, this morning I was in a real rush at worked, grabbed a random mug rather than looking for my own, and when I got to my desk discovered that I'd picked up this one...

EWCM comes waaay before Ov, not afterwards - you have not Ov'd yet!! I get it for at least 5 days prior to Ov. It's a bit annoying actually as it makes timing The Sex quite tricky (Mr Imps still can't perform on demand, bless him).

Well that is simply marvellous about Cups, am properly delighted.
