Hello everyone, i need some advice. My GF and have been TTC for the past 2 years the natural way with a friend of ours and we have had no luck so now we would like to try the turkey baster method but we would like to know of anyone that has had luck with this method and what did you use and how if you dont mind sharing and going into detail. Any information would be helpful and THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!!!

i havent tried this personally, but on the infertility board, someone just posted recently how they finally got a bfp with using the turkey baster method. ive read stories before that it is successful. give it a go, cant hurt. good luck x

Have a look at the pride angel website. They have a whole section on this for same sex couples using donor sperm.

Anyway, in simple terms, you need to come in a clean cup. Then keep the sperm warm (body temp) for 10 mins (ish) until it liquifies. It will go clear and runny.

Then gently suck it up in a syringe and gently squirt it into your DP's vagina. Then leave syringe in place for a short while. Remove and go to sleep.

Some ladies like to have an orgasm as well as there is a theory that it helps guide the sperm upwards.

This method is no more successful than having sex, but works if there are any problems getting the sperm where they should be via the normal method.

My dd2 is 6 weeks old and we used a combo of sex and turkey basting each month as dh was struggling to keep up with my sex schedule
