Cervical ectropion

Hi ladies - I have been diagnosed with cervical ectropion. I often bleed after DTD and I spot for the week prior to AF. Just wondered if anyone else had this and if it affected fertility?

I think this is what the Dr said i had... she described it as the cervix being a little bit inside out. I went because I had lots of spotting and she sent me for a scan which was clear and said it was probably this causing it because it means you're a bit more sensitive. I specifically mentioned that I wanted to get it checked as we were about to ttc and she said it wasn't a problem.

However I'm on cycle 6 now and no joy, probably totally unrelated but you never know!

I have this and my consultant actively encouraged me to try and conceive as he said that it might help it to heal!! Something to do with it being caused by hormones. Didn't say anything about it affecting fertility.

Forgot to say- my symptoms are exactly the same as yours.

I'm on my 11th cycle TTC and starting to get frustrated. I have an appt with gyno to discuss treatment options for the ectropion.
