Conception and due dates after implant

Hi, I was just wondering if someone can help. Me and my fiancé are trying for a baby (very early stages). In the past I have had very irregular periods. I had the implant for about 2 years and during this time only had about 2 or 3 very light periods. i have had it removed for about 5 days and was told that you are able to conceive straight away. If this was case and I was lucky enough to fall pregnant before I had another period, how would they work out the due date? Thanks

Hi Becca

I guess with no way to record you've ovulated (You're not temping or raking ovulation tests, right?) then they would rely on a blood/urine test to measure the level of pregnancy hormone in your system. They could date accurately with a ultra sound scan, but that doesn't usually happen until they expect you to be 12 weeks ish.

No were not really recording anything just now, just eating healthy and taking folic acid. As it's early stages we're not fully informed about useful tips and idea, so any information would be greatly appreciated!
