Hello all,

I'm 33 and came off the pill in mid May (after I think like 15 years, can't remember ever having a break nor what my periods we like before), since then had we've been TTC however I only learnt about BBT, OPKs and charting etc during cycle 2.

First cycle I was just waiting / hoping for AF to arrive so I knew my body was getting back to normal off the pill.

cycle 1 - 38 days (no charting)
cycle 2 - 27 days (charting but no ovulation based on no temp shift)
cycle 3 - O'd on CD16 currently at CD27 and temp still high - see pic.

I have plenty of cheapy HPT from internet (10mIU) so have tried a few on 7, 9, 10 and 11dpos! All BFNs so far. So not sure if my cycle is going to be 27-28 days as standard but if so I'm due AF tomorrow. Odd few twinges but had these throughout all dpo's (recorded as cramps) and no spotting or such like yet. Got my Fx...

What do more experience people think of my chart?

If I don't get a BFP this month, then as this is my first cycle with a clear O, do I go on this CD16 as possible future O dates? So next month start BD on CD12, 13, 14 onwards until positive OPK and then as much as can after that?

Any other advice on what I should be doing?
Happy to know at least I've started ovulating only 3 cycles off the pill! phew.

ta ladies...
x

Looking at your chart, I can't say if you are pregnant or not-no one can BUT you have def ovulated and the post ov temps show the progesterone is working it's magic.
I don't know what your luteal phase is but if you have a good 14 day one, you won't get AF until 15dpo (which would then be CD1 of next cycle) so you can expect AF between now and 4 days time. It would only be a 28 standard if you ovulated on CD14 but you didn't, so your cycle will adust to allow for this. If it did turn aout to be a 28 day cycle, your luteal phase would be on the short side. So far, your cycle looks healthy and normal and nothing to be worried about. You can keep taking hpts if you like until AF arrives.

Every cycle you have may be the same or they may be different. It really is too early to tell.

My one piece of advice would be to not stop DTD so early. Try for a least a 3-4 days after your postive OPK and temp shift just in case it is your body gearing up for ovulation but is delayed a bit. It just increases your odds!

It looks like you have ovulated. My temperature usually stays up around 36.6 at the back end of my cycle but always drops to 36.4 the day of or the day before af arrives. I'd say until your temperature drops again there is a chance you could be pregnant. Good luck x
