[Possibly] Very Stupid Question Regarding Cycles and Ovulation?

Apologies for the stupid question, but can you ovulate without a period? I've stopped taking the Depo injection and haven't had a period yet (3 months since last inj) but I've been getting excessive bloating, cramps and "stuff" downstairs for a few days each month.

Could this be ovulation? DP and I are going to start TTC in December but of course if AF hasn't returned there's little point I assume.

Yes you can! Down side is it would be hard to confirm if it is actually ovulation and not AF due to make an appearance with charting your temps or doing a blood test at the GPs. However, if it was me, i'd DTD as it can't hurt! The Depo spes seem to be evil with women TTC afterwards so i hope your long wait will be over soon

Yes. I conceived dd after coming off pill having not had a period beforehand. Good luck.
