I know this is pretty straight forward and I'm not pregnant, but I got a positive result Thursday on a test using FMU so I did another one later on in the day and then got another positive. So obviously being happy because we're TTC, I told my partner and my mum. But this morning I wake up and AF has arrived, heavier than usual and more painful than usual. Id love to know what's going on and why this has happened?! Surely you can't get two false positives?..
Thank you in advanced, anything, any help/advice would be nice lol!

I think it's classed as a chemical pregnancy - a very very early miscarriage.

Yes, it sounds like a chemical pregnancy. Sorry Sad Hope you're okay Thanks

Hi Jadex, this happened to me last month, it was awful, I'm so sorry. Flowers. Have you phoned NHS 24? They gave me the number for my local early pregnancy assessment unit, and I phoned them and they told me what to do. You'll still get BFPs just now whatever has happened (the hormones will still be in your body) so unfortunately it's a waiting game - the longest week of my life, even though I pretty much knew what had happened. Sending hugs.

Oh really? :/ I've heard of a chemical pregnancy but never thought it would happen to me - naively enough. I'm going to ring the nhs 24 like you said Callipy, and see what they say. I'm still in a lot of pain today, too :(
