EWCM but strip says negative - what's going on 'ere then?

Day 10 of cycle, which I'd have thought was rather early for EWCM but there it is, bold as brass. The ovulation strip says negative, so what's going on?

hi, you can get ewcm for a while before you actually ovulate, I usually get it for 3/4 days before a +ve OPK. keep testing and good luck!
