So I posted in my previous post but thought I would make a new one too :)
I had my final appointment at my local hospital, 2 rounds of clomid, 50mg and then 100mg for 3 months each didn't work :( So she has referred me for IUI treatment, she sent the letter back in May and called the clinic while I was there to find out when I would expect to hear from them, and it's Dec at the earliest, im hoping that's an appointment not just the letter :/ She's given me paperwork for 2 blood tests I think day 21 and day 24/26 of cycle, its in the car so im guessing the dates, but basically to check progesterone and to make sure im ovulating, said it would speed things up as they wont need to do it when I get the appointment. I will be going to prince phillip hospital in llanelli, I don't know if anyone here is going to the same place? Could anyone possibly give me some information on how many cycles my husband and I might get to try IUI? I know it varies depending on location and I cant find the information i need on my local health board website! Also if anyone has any info about what happens I would be greatful too, I know I can ask my gp, but I would rather get it from someone who knows what im going through!
