Positive line on test disappeared..? HELP?!?

So, I tested using a First Response and within a few seconds the test line showed up positive!!! I was so happy. But then it disappeared literally 10-20 seconds later. What's going on? Is it positive, is it negative? After 3 minutes the test looked like it showed no hint of a second line at all but there was definitely a faint line there when I first tested!!!
Any help would be nice, thank you :)

Sounds negative to me...sorry. Sometimes the line can appear as the dye is moving over it. I have had this. Have you got a pic? Where are you in your cycle? It may be too early to test yet.

Haven't got a pic no, was going to take one but as I rushed to get my phone it disappeared! The dye had already moved across by this point and the line had stayed for another 10-20 seconds, but then I went to get my phone & it had gone! :( I'm currently 13dpo, so surely I should at least have a faint positive by now?!

Lally112, it was a First Response... So should've been one of the best? I'm going to test again in the morning using a digital I think. X

I had this also this morning (sat 9th) after nearly a week of negatives I thought I had bfp on af due day then it went - did second test and neg. not had it before and the feeling of happiness/unbelievability for those few seconds lifted my heart so much then came back down to earth :( I'm gutted. af came last month at 5.30 pm so waiting till this afternoon, **tmi keep feeling wet and rushing to check. I've been using the 10 miu tests from amazon fx for you xx

You're not out til AF arrives :) I did an IC on Thursday and was bfn (12 or 13dpo?) and then took one today and BFP (14/15dpo)

Confirmed by three ICs, SuperDrug and FRER teehee :$ x
