Why should you finish a pack of the pill when TTC?

Hi there

We are going to be ttc soon and my GP told me to stop at the end of a packet of the pill. Does this make ttc easier/quicker? I was a bit confused but did not ask for more info from my GP.

I'd guess it just makes it easier to know when your new cycle starts but can't see how it'd make much difference other than that. Will give you time to work on your healthy diet and start the folic acid though as you might get pg on your first try!
