Is it possible to get your BFP at 9DPO?! Please help!

I was just wondering how likely it is to test at 9DPO and get a BFP? And which test brand would be best to use? (Im in the UK). I'm far too impatient to wait and every day my symptoms seem to be getting stronger. I'm getting cramps that are low down, I've had what I think is implantation bleeding and my nipples are tingly and sensitive. I'm extremely tired and fatigued - 10hrs a nights sleep is not enough for me, I'm having to nap during the day! I've been getting the odd headache, too. I drank last night one alcoholic drink last night and felt tipsy..! What the hell is going on? Is it likely I'm pregnant and would it be too early to test? Please help, any advice would be nice!! Thank you in advanced :)

Unlikely but possible. I got one at 10dpo on both an internet cheapie and a FR. However, as a long term TTCer I offer this caution: PMS symptoms are very similar to early pg symptoms. I have had "symptoms" so so many times, but only once was I actually pregnant.

Yes it is possible. I got a positive at 9 dpo on an internet cheapie. It was so faint it was almost invisible, I could only see it under a bright light holding it at an angle! By 10dpo I got much clearer lines on an FRER and an internet cheapie. I'll put up my 10dpo photos:

Possible but unlikely. I tested using internet cheapies with a sensitivity of 10 mIU. 10dpo BFN. 11 dpo BFN but then half an hour later a faint line appeared. Had a BFP on a blood test later on on 11dpo which showed 12 mIU.

I'm 10dpo tomorrow, do you think I should wait it out til then? Thing is, is I never ever get this many symptoms before my AF. I only ever get cramps and grouchy. I never get tingy/sensitive nipples, or backache, or extreme tiredness to the point of where I'm napping every day during the day... I just don't know what to do!

Hi GailLondon, thank you for posting your photos - they were lovely to look at and very insightful! I'm debating on buying internet cheapies, because they're more sensitive than shop bought ones... And you can buy them in packs of 5, meaning I can test every day if I wanted too, hehe! I just haven't got the patience to wait but I know I'll be disappointed if I see a BFN :(

Chloechloe, do you recommend going to the doctors then? A blood test would be a much simpler way of getting the answers I want!! I might test with a SuperDrug own brand because aren't they meant to be sensitive?

The earliest I've ever had a positive was 8dpo with a first response, usually I get a nice clear unmistakable line by 10dpo

But it really does depend on lots of things and it's complelety normal to not test positive till 13/14/15 dpo

Unless there are specific problems (or you are not in the uk) doctors wont do blood tests, most don't even do a urine test these days

GailLondon · 02/08/2014 23:51

Good luck if you're testing in the morning jade!

ChallyCreaks · 03/08/2014 00:17

I got a positive test with dc3 at 8dpo. I knew when he was conceived so was very sure of my dates and just knew i was pg. good luck with testing.

chloechloe · 03/08/2014 10:05

Hi jadex I wouldn't recommend going to the dr, you should test at home first. I only had a blood test that early as I had IVF.

When buying a test you need to look at the HCG level it can pick up - the lower the number, the more sensitive it is.
