Acupuncture - Your success story?

Hi everyone,

I'll admit when I started researching TTC I saw the words Acupuncture and just had a bit of a giggle to myself. I honestly did not think that Acupuncture could have any effect on the body and fertility. Fast forward to cycle two and I have to admit I am seeing so many people say they have Acupuncture treatments which seem to help.

I have access to this treatment easily (literally there is a health spa on my road), I also had a it of a messed up cycle last month with a very short luteal phase and delayed ovulation. While I'm sure this would sort itself out I was wondering should I take the leap and go for some Acupuncture sessions?

I would love to hear your success stories, is it worth it and if so how often do you go and how long are your sessions?

I have literally just been reading about it and am looking forward to booking in my first session.

I'm on my second cycle of acupuncture. My first session was an hour and a half as she wanted to ask lots of questions about my general health and menstrual cycles. Now they are an hour and I have them in the week before and the week after ov.
My acupuncturist told me to take three months off ttc (like that's going to happen) while she sorts my cycles out. They were pretty regular but very heavy and painful AF. My last AF was pretty much pain free and lighter so it is doing something! Also have some herbs to take which tasted vile at first but actually ok now I am used to them.
