When to start ovulation stick use?!

This is probably a bit thick, but I'm struggling to work out exactly when i should start the ovulation stick testing and then once i get a line what to do?.....should we start madly DTD straight after that?

My cycle varies from 25-30 days and i've only really appreciated that i think our timing was a bit off previously. The pack says day 11 but that is based on a regular 28 day cycle.

Conceived DS 1st cycle so am inexperienced.

I use the CBFM and it advised to start using the OPKs that plug into the machine (monitoring oestrogen and LH) on cd6.

When the LH reaches peak then that means I'll ovulate within 24-48 hours of that result, so that means definitely DTD!
