Tips/tricks/ advice... TTC #2 for 2 years...

Just that- TTC #2, at first just a bit, then by intensively counting days and getting bored of shagging, now with fertility "pee sticks" and still a bit bored!!! I'm 35, DH 43. DS1 took 5 mos but I was told that was because of too much exercise. NOT my current problem . Any advice? Should say, pee sticks show my fertility is pretty irregular

I'm in same boat. TTC#2 for just on 2 years. DD is 4.5.
I'm 34, DH 39.
It's just not happening. Plus had hycosy on Fri and found out one tube is blocked
Would appreciate any tips too, but tbh I could probably write the book!

Hey! Thanks Three. So, what steps did you go through to get where you are? I've not even thought about approaching a doc yet... Should I?

I went after 18 months. Had to really talk myself into it and found it hard to even say the words out loud. Luckily, I have a lovely gp.

She referred me for blood tests while I waited about 8 weeks for a infertility clinic appt. Clinic sent me for ultrasound, and then hycosy, plus dh's sperm analysis.
So far, everything's come back fine other than blocked tube. Ovulation is fine. I'm back in clinic in Aug to discuss next steps, if any. We'd have to save up a while for ivf.
It gets me down but I try to focus on dd and how lucky we are to have her.
