Here is the amazon link:
www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B00H4Y9EW0?cache=08e8a426eb0e0075448c734d03dde78d&pi=AC_SX110_SY165&qid=1406417637&sr=8-4#ref=mp_s_a_1_4

I've ordered it today as today is 12th month of trying after having AF. Has anyone used it or interested in using it? I like how it works it all out for you as I don't want to spend all that time stressing over learning how to chart myself. You poas when it tells you and insert the stick into the machine and it interprets it for you. Gives you a few high chance days and then the lh surge days. Measures oestrogen and lh. Also can test for pregnancy. You can input when you dtd too and a light and alarm can remind you.

I really like gadgets and technology anyway. If it works I don't care how much it costs. Anyone have any experience with it already? I don't think it's been put long.

H. Sunbathing, oh hell I reason some other threads about this sometimes happening so I decided not to do the cheapnies for that reason. Much as it pained me spending the money on the cbfm I agree I just need something that is going to pinpoint the days, it's to hard thinking all the time ewe need to dtd tonight cos it might b the time. I hope you have the immaculate conception to and therefore don't need this :-)

Ladyboluna · 16/08/2014 09:04

Hello new ladies. I am now on day 21 and 8dpo (well 8 since first peak). Trying to resist buying ics from amazon...

Eww how exciting. Have u enjoyed knowing when peaks r and has it helped with dtd? If u don't mind me asking how many highs did u get first and did u go for eod dtd during them and then dtd on peak days as well? Planning my strategy is the only thing that keeps me sane right now :-)

chundercatsarego · 16/08/2014 10:33

Wow, talk about different cycles ladyb -im on cd17 and still reading low! Sad If I get a high/peak this is good as the app I use thinks I ov at cd16 so from 12-18 we are usually at it like rabbits, then have a rest-if I ov later this would explain why we haven't caught yet.....if no high/peak think I am gonna be more stressed!

Mines just arrived and I've set it all up. Only CD2 so need to wait a few days before I start testing - day 6 it's telling me.

Ladyboluna · 16/08/2014 20:07

Katy - I got my first high on cd10, then got highs until cd14 when I got my first peak. Got a peak again on cd15 then it stopped asking for tests but gave me one more day of high chance automatically.

It made me feel better knowing I was oving as I had never used any opks before even though we've been trying for almost 13 months now. Turns out we were focusing our dtd efforts at the wrong time as FF is wrong for me it seems, we dtd every other day while I was reading high then each day I had a peak reading, plus the day after I think. And a few times inbetween!

chunder how long are your cycles normally? You're going to ov late if they're longer. If you ovulate late before AF at least then you'll know what's happening and and can see doc about clomid?

Fox that's when it asked me to start testing. The first cycle it's just learning your rhythm so I think it may adjust when it asks for tests. It's going to assume you have a 28 day cycle at first - mine is 26 like clockwork so when it says "4 days until AF is due" (meaning I can start using the pregnancy test sticks) actually mine will be due in 2 days, so hopefully I can test then and maybe get a BFP..

Katybear123 · 16/08/2014 20:34

Thanks lady hope it works for u. I to am cd 21 today. No idea how many many days post ov so will have to wait and see. Hope u and I both get our bfp's together x

Ladyboluna · 16/08/2014 21:11

Thanks katy, let's hope that this thread dies for a good reason as everyone gets their BFPs within the 2 months it says you have an 89% improved chance for...

OP posts:
Katybear123 · 16/08/2014 21:21

I am with u 89% sounds like gd odds to me!

chundercatsarego · 17/08/2014 10:45

My cycles are usually around 33 days but can be 28-38 days long. CD18 today and still low. To be fair if I am not oving it could be worse as I know generally clomid is successful at stimulating o so at least there is a potential fix, and it is much better than not knowing the cause. Think this is cycle 8 or 9 for me though, so maybe I am jumping the gun a bit! I also have an under active thyroid which can affect things, and I've had a lot of issues with my meds this year- finally sorted out about 2 months ago so maybe I should be counting from then?

Sending me a bit batty to be honest! All those years avoiding pregnancy like the plague and now I'm desperate for it, it's not as easy as I always thought/was warned!

Katybear123 · 17/08/2014 11:49

Hi chandler I hear ur pain, I am in the same boat. Have been on pill for 17 yrs avoiding getting preg. Everyone said I would fall instantly as I'm fit, healthy, as is hubbie and both in early 30's so on paper it should b easy as 1,2,3. However no one warned me coming off the pill it takes a while for ur cycles to restart and reset, 51 day cycle 1st time!
This is cycle 3. If not luck cbfm it is I'm done with guess work!

Ladyboluna · 17/08/2014 19:58

Cycle 3 isn't too bad katy, they say you should give it 6 months after ending contraception so I'm not sure what you mean by it takes "a while" yet if this is only your 3rd cycle. Unfortunately I think this is one of those times when mother nature starts to teach us patience.

I did a IC test today and was negative, not surprised really as it's still 4-5 days until AF is due. On countdown now.

OP posts:
Ladyboluna · 17/08/2014 20:00

Oh and chunder I totally understand. I have taken emergency contraception before when I was 18 and then been on hormonal contraceptives from then until now (I'm 23). Now I've not been on anything I'm like well I probably shouldn't have bothered then! lol

Said this to OH today and he said knowing our luck I would have fell pregnant while we couldn't cope with a baby if I did that. So swings and roundabouts, lol.

Hi all

Did my day 6 test today and got a low so waiting now for my high, first time using this monitor and am on cycle 5 now, ttc#2 and praying this is our month! Good luck everyone else x

chundercatsarego · 18/08/2014 08:19

Good luck newbie!

ladyb I am jealous of you in the 2ww! CD20 now and still low! Am wondering if it is worth a trip to the docs this month if still low when I finish...been trying 8-9 months and never had a pos opk either Sad

croon979 · 18/08/2014 08:35

Hi all, was away over the w/e so not been around to post. Well I am now on CD18 and still high but no sign of peaking :-s. So for this cycle I had. 3 low days and then 9 high days. I think that it may well have missed my peak this time as my cycles are 28-30 days usually. I have read that this may happen the first month of using the monitor. Either that or I ovulate late in my cycle. Hmmm. Anyway, will keep testing as instructed for this month and see what it tells me next month.

Hope the 2ww is going well ladyb.

Fingers crossed for a high/peak to you Chunder.

Baby dust to all x

Ladyboluna · 18/08/2014 10:19

Fingers crossed chunder, do what you think will make you feel better about the process. I am sorry that you're still getting low readings. :( maybe it's just one of those cycles?

croon thanks, I just want Friday to be here now. I am enjoying the feeling that this might be our month and I want to test NOW but at the same time I think the longer I wait to test, the more I can enjoy thinking I might be. Avoiding looking at the CBFM incase it tempts me.

Hopefully sunbathing you'll be able to send it back? Wink

Boobs are really sore today. Normal impending AF symptom for me though, so not too excited although I know it could be for both. They're the kind of 'gravity is going to really hurt when I take my bra off' sort of sore. Ugh.

Mel3062 · 19/08/2014 03:17

Hi ladies please can I join? Month 4 of my monitor now I think. Af due Saturday. Last month it didn't show peak but think it missed it.

chundercatsarego · 19/08/2014 07:48

Finally got a high!!! Grin CD20, and we're attending a family funeral today Sad ....not sure I how much swi will be on the cards later, but feel so much better to have had a high, I could sing!

croon979 · 19/08/2014 11:14

That's FAB chunder!! whoop!

CD18 for me and another high although I am convinced for other reasons (which will prob be TMI) that I am ovulating. Maybe my peak day will be CD20 as this seems to be a lucky day :)

Mel3062 - I think that the monitor does miss it certain months so probably nothing to worry about.

fingers crossed for you LadyB, newbie and katybear123.

Hope your CBFM arrives soon sunbathingcat, it's the future, I'm convinced!
