Ms for me was he'll ish. With dd1 it was manageable with the travel sickness bands and eating lots of small meals though I was on and off sick till 20 wks. dd2 I was sick from about 7wks or so until the end! with a three night stay in hosp on a drip! The pills do help, I was on either 6 or 8 a day I think?

((mac)) Thanks

Oh my gosh Iam!!
I hope my ms doesn't last the whole pregnancy :O

macmissy · 03/08/2014 08:09

oh I see Ducky, I'm still going to the doctors on the 13th anyway, when I'll be able to go for a scan. Trying with all of my might to stay positive!

my OH asked when we should start trying again if I have MC. I said straight away, not tarnished by my silly body!

Ducky23 · 03/08/2014 08:15

really hope it isn't a mc Confused

With dd, as soon as the pp bleeding stopped me and DH stArted to try again. Apparently after pregnancy is when your most fertile though, I think that's why it happened so quickly for us

Me624 · 03/08/2014 09:52

Thanks mac, I hope you get some positive news.

One more day of the dtd marathon for DH and me. He promised to try properly this month and we've done it every day but one in my fertile window. The day we didn't, we had a bit of an argument but talked about it the next day and he said he's feeling a lot of pressure to perform and he totally didn't expect to feel this way! I felt a bit bad really as I've just been expecting him to get on with it and never really thought about men feeling the pressure. He can have a bit of a break after tomorrow on the 2ww! I've got loads on the next couple of weeks so I'll be kept nice and busy and distracted from the wait.

iamdivergent · 03/08/2014 10:00

We average 3/4 times a week normally but DH would go a couple times a day if I cba! Shock so he is enjoying the trying. he's not spoken about the actual baby part though obviously he knows we are ttc Grin

Ah mac sounds like you've got a great dr ! Fx crossed for you . Theres loads of stories of ladies that have had a bleed and its been fine . I had cramps around 5/6 weeks as well .
Had a lovely weekend of telling everyone and went for lunch yesterday with both lots of parents . First thing mil says was 'you didnt take much time!' As we got married in august , I felt like saying 'it felt like forever!' . She then wanted to see my bump which is currently a bit hairy not like in the movies !!

Me624 · 03/08/2014 10:23

Ah poppet that's nice, I bet the telling everyone is one of the best bits. If and when I ever get my bfp, our parents will be rejoicing I think as we've been married almost 3 years! I think a lot of people were expecting us to start ttc sooner but I was only 24 when we got married and have been focusing on my career!

Cupcake92 · 03/08/2014 11:15

Keeping my fx for u Mac Thanks

And good luck to those about to start the tww! :)

Poppet, I bet it's been lovely telling everyone the news! :) I reckon that's the best bit. Can't wait to tell everyone myself but I have a long long time to go. Won't be having scan till around September 15th :(

21questions · 03/08/2014 13:45

Fingers crossed for you too mac try and stay positive. I really hope this works out for you Thanks

My dh said the same me he feels under pressure so Im trying to be not to be full on with the baby talk and just keep it fun instead of a chore. One more time of the dtd marathon for us although I feel like af is due to arrive any day soon and Im only on cd 14. But I did have a 17 day cycle last month so not sure what's going on Confused

bradders85 · 03/08/2014 14:31

fingers crossed mac, hope everything is ok. cd 9 for me so starting the cb ov test sticks tomorrow as part of the cb trial. dtd lots already so making the most of dp being at home! :-)

Me624 · 03/08/2014 14:32

21questions it's nice to hear that my DH isn't the only one. I tried to keep it low key and not tell DH when it's the key time etc but the problem is before ttc our usual was only about once a week, maybe twice ... so if I suddenly want to dtd every day it's obvious there's a reason why!

Siarie · 03/08/2014 17:11

Well the no drinking wine and certain cheeses went out the window today, me and the DH went to a French restaurant and had a lazy brunch. Still I figured it doesn't matter so much since I'm waiting to ovulate still.

I've just ordered Taking charge of your fertility on the off chance that there is some information in there I haven't already found on the internet :D

21 and Me I don't know how you keep it low key! my DH is as crazy as me at getting things done, so luckily he's all for anything. If he wasn't I'd find it super hard to hide what I'm suggesting lmao.

Mac hope it isn't a MC, but if it is then you'll bounce back and something wasn't meant to be. FX that everything is fine though and you get some good news.

Cupcake92 · 03/08/2014 21:53

If u find some new information Siarie let us all know ! :p
But cheese and wine sounds like HEAVEN!!
I'd kill for some baked Camembert right now and a big glass of red! :( :(

Me and 21, my DH hated the pressure on him, if I told him I'm ovulating he got annoyed and felt he had to make himself perform. He's quite glad we have our bfp now tho. He's taking a break from dtd for a long time he says :p or in his words "we'll do it again once the baby's born okay?" Hahaha!

Bradders let us know how the clear blue ov sticks go :)

Tylastar · 03/08/2014 22:00

My DP isn't stressing about dtd but if I mention anything about ovulation or fertility he gets a bit annoyed.
I don't really think he's into the technical side haha.

That's why I joined up here so I can talk to ladies about it. :)

Cupcake92 · 04/08/2014 07:25

Morning ladies.
Weirdly my sickness is loads better. :s which worries me a little bit. But I've become extremely tired all the time. I really struggled to get up with DS this morning and already I can't wait till it's bed time again haha.

How is everyone today? Hope ur all well!! :)

Cupcake92 · 04/08/2014 07:26

She's back today ain't she Ducky?
Bet it was amazing!

Ducky23 · 04/08/2014 07:41

I thought so Smile

Well the tiredness is a good sign cupcake Grin I had sickness wih dd and pure exhaustion with this one Blush he was moving about all day yesterday!

Really don't want to be going to work todayHmm

Cupcake92 · 04/08/2014 08:08

At least that's a good sign Grin but it's hard work being exhausted haha! I've got work today too but start at 11. Only on lunches today so I finish at 3. But still, I can't be bothered to get dressed and go. :/ blah.

macmissy · 04/08/2014 15:54

Afternoon lovelies

Can I just say a huge thank you for all of the messages, it really means a lot - did another test this morning and it is negative. After the amount I was bleeding (sorry) I kind of knew anyway - I was just hoping for the best. But I shall be right back on the horse (as soon as I can) and we'll go for there.

I have learned out of this that if you can't get past your doctors receptionist to see them and you're not happy with something or worried, then call NHS Direct & they can advise what to say to the receptionist. I had read about it on another thread and it worked for me too - got to see the doctor within the hour!

I hope all of you lovely ladies aren't struggling with your sickness (eat little and often and avoid an empty stomach) and those girls on a TWW - distract yourselves with lovely things

I have distracted myself with wedding dresses today at work, I am ok - life goes on and it didn't happen this time, but we'll try again (now i am not sure how many times I will try before giving up mind - but that's a conversation for way down the line I think)

Sending some massive positive vibes out to you all

xx
