Should I be worried?

TTC #2 and having weird spotting. Usually I'm very regular, 27/28 day cycle with ov cd 17/18. My period is usually heavy for 2/3 days and lasts 4-5 days. But this month I'm on cd 30 and have had spotting for 3 days. Occasional brown or bright red smear when I wipe. No pad/tampon needed.

Taken lots of pg tests and all negative (including FRER). Don't feel pregnant at all. Should I be worried about this? Should I just consider it my period? Blooming body!!

I'm also TTC#2 and I've always had spotting for the first few days of my period sometimes even a week before the heavy bleed. When I fell pregnant with DD I was more than 6 weeks gone before I realised as I had the same spotting as I always have with my period but just no heavy bleed.

It's really confusing, every month I hope that it's going to be just spotting and no heavy bleed. I seem to get a bit of brown, red and pink with my spotting.

Maybe give it another few days and re-test if it still doesn't get heavy.

Thanks Bobsy! I've been driving myself mad symptom spotting and poas! Just counted myself out for this cycle then this happens?! I normally only get 1 day of spotting but since having DS 'normal' might not be normal?! I've decided to test on Fri as I'll be 14dpo (as long as witch doesn't arrive in earnest)!

Hi, I'm having the same kind of thing at the moment I've been spotting brown just when I wipe, it's now my 4th day having it, done a few tests but they were all BFN :-( I'm on CD 30 I ovulated on CD 16 and should have AF starting tomorrow. I'm hoping for my BFP been TTC #1 for 5 months and feels like it will never happen.

I drive myself mad symptom spotting too! I don't POAS though, I would if the spotting went on for over a week but it never does.

I'm confused about cycles Girly I ovulated on CD 19 and my cycle was 31 days (AF appeared on what would be Day 32), this was only the second cycle of using the OPK but I expected AF to be a couple of days later due to when I'd ovulated! I've been TTC #2 for about 18 months, it's so frustrating isn't it.

I use the OPK and I also have an app on my phone, I also get confused about the cycles, last month my body had a mind of its own and AF turned up really early so not sure if my app will be right this month or not will have to wait and see. Really not sure what this brown spotting is though could be the start of AF I suppose

Which App do you use? I downloaded one but couldn't get it to work properly for some reason.

I've just looked it up and ovulation can occur from 10-16 days before the next period.

Maybe try testing again in a few days if still spotting.

I use fertility friend. It's very comprehensive! You can use a free version or pay for additional features. I like the extra features so paid.

AF arrived properly last night. Bit relieved in a way as would worry something wasn't right with all this spotting.

Today I'm a little more than spotting with a little pink blood but mostly brown sorry TMI. I have no idea what going on this month. I wish AF would just come as usual so I can get on with it and not worry.

Girly I'm on day 3 of spotting/light period, most of it when I wipe rather than on the pad. I've got pink and brown and a bit of orange-brown thrown in for good measure - Oh and little bit of plane old red! - TMI!

Weird about the app. Maybe try deleting it off your phone and reinstalling it? Not that I'm much of a techy...

Sorry for all the spotting nonsense! I've got opposite issue now. I'm normally a regular tampax kinda girl but needing supers today and they are not even holding up TMI?? I'm trying to be positive and consider it a good 'clear out'! Sigh...

I've finally got the app set up, looks like it will be useful. I've also ordered the Clearblue OPK with hormone indicator, I'm pulling out all the stops!

That's strange but yes it could be your body having a good clear out. I'm a Super Plus & towel girl I've always had very heavy periods. Don't think there can be TMI between us ladies when we all have same problems.
