I am currently on cd14 I got a peak (non flashing smiley) on cd9 straight to peak no high (flashing smiley) we dtd lots and lots around and before then as I was v in the mood.I don't temp as I am not organised enough but I did have some cramping on these days. Tested again on Sat cd11 once the peak symbol had gone and it was negative,my plan had been to test every other day for a bit as O seemed very early -Especially as this month the first two days were so light I didn't know if it was just spotting(if that were the case the positive test happened on cd7 which seems ridiculous).
I forgot to test yesterday and tested this morning again for the first time since Saturday and got the high (flashing smiley). Does this mean I am ovulating again (seems scientifically v unlikely!) OR the first test was a false positive? OR This test is a false positive?
Should I keep testing? What would you do?
We dtd every day from cd7 to cd12 but not last night as I just felt wrecked and the mood had sort of passed me.I'm guessing if the first test was a false positive or even just in case it was I'd better gear up for doing it a lot more but I'm so flipping tired!!!
ADVICE PLEASE

how very odd, they do say if you get a second ov, its indicating a pregnancy and not another ovulation...so who knows. have u rang clearblue? im using them tests too, but never tested again after a peak......... x

Just keep having sex all the time you get a peak! Can't go wrong then?

It is only possible to ovulate more than once in a cycle, if it is in the same 24 hour period of ovulation. For example, you could ovulate from one follicle at midday and ovulate from another follicle at midday the next day.

However, you couldn't be ovulating again, during your timeframe.

Most likely (and this happens more than we think) your body geared up to ovulate with the LH surge and pains, but didn't. That early in the cycle, the egg would not have been mature enough so this is Nature's way of giving you a better chance.
Your body has geared up to try and ovulate again, hence your second LH surge.

I don't think 4-5 days after your last surge, the OPK means pregnancy, but the longer I TTC, the more I think anything can happen!

If it was me, I'd DTD a few more times to cover all bases and get ready to take an HPT in about 14 days.

Good luck!

Thankyou!I contacted clear blue who said I hadn't started testing early enough and that it was probably getting used to my hormone levels?Which I don't really understand but plan is to keep dtd anyway,if I can shake off the exhaustion that has hit me today like a ton of bricks as my littlest one is going through another not sleeping phase it seems!

Hi Scattaboy,
I don't really have any advice but just wanted to say I had similar this month (just cheapy OKP's though, not CB), and I think my body tried to ovulate twice before ovulation successfully (hopefully!) on the 3rd go.

Although, I must say, this is my cycle immediately after MC so I'm not surprised if I'm a bit all over the place.

Best of luck x

Kitty I think you must have got the way of it-now moved from high fertility to peak fertility again on the tests so I am imagining this might be the more accurate timing but will keep testing until day 20 I think Seaside just in case it takes a third go with me too-so confusing!!Confused
