pregnancy after being on the coil

Hi all, march this year i had my coil removed after having surgery for severe endometriosis, my partner and i are trying for a baby he already has two daughters so we know he is fertile, i am struggling to conceive each month my periods are regular. I am worried that it could be the endometriosis stopping me from having a baby i have always wanted a baby and have felt that i am in a stable and secure enough relationship to have one. My mum had cervical cancer when pregnant with me and it runs in the family could this be part of the reason why i am not conceiving. I am worried and need some advice should i be going to the doctors for tests as i have been told my cervix is really inflammed and each time we have had sex now for the last two months it has been really painful, we have sex anything up to 6 times a week. Any help would be great thanks. Lucy
