the digital one would just be an evaporation line.

It was the only one reliable for me. Did she use concentrated wee? If the wee is very diluted then any test won't work.

i couldent belive it either but she brought them over and she took the digital one apart and the normal clear blue one that had a posative result and the strips was the same two blue lines on both tests i couldent belive it i think that they have to give some tests neg result so you buy another what do you think

clearblue worked well for me maybe wee wasnt strong enough.

The reason probably is that the clearblue digital needs a higher concentration of pregnancy hormone (hCG) to show positive than the regular clearblue test (digital needs 25 and regular only needs 15). But they don't tell you. So there's your answer!

This will help and shows clearblue digital needs higher levels of pregnancy hormone than clearblue regular to detect pregnancy. comparison chart

The lines on the digital test don't mean the same as on an ordinary clearblue, so you can't read it meaningfully except on the digital display.

If I remember correctly it also tells you in the instructions to not take the digital test apart to look for lines as they don't mean what you would think they mean - and I can vouch for this as more than one negative digital test of mine did have two lines and I wasn't pregnant!
