Hi everyone,

I am new to the forum but really need someone to talk to, some input, advice/opinions and peoples experiences.

I am 27 and have a beautiful little boy who is just over 2 and we have been trying to conceive since about February time, which isn't that long but i am deeply concerned because of other issues.

My periods randomly stopped, with the last one at the beggining of April and since since then nothing. I have had cramps at countless times i have thought this is it...

I have been back and forth to the Dr's, had bloods taken for hormones and everything appears normal (he did say one was 3 x usual level but had said this could be down to where i am in cycle) but still classed as normal. Still nothing, so they have said they would do a ultrasound after i practically had to beg them as i felt something was wrong. I decided to pay privatley for peace of mind just to see if they had picked anything up ona fertility test and following this i am in bits, worrying myself silly.

The sonographer basically said it looks like i have been on contraceptive and that like ovulation was being suppressed. I have been on no contraception for like 4 years and even then i didn't take the pill very long. She reported that there was no evidence of follicular activity and that there was a single follicle of 7.1 mm on my left ovary. After researching this, i realise this is really bad and i am petrified of what this means and worrying myself sick that i won't get to have any more kids.

I know ii am very lucky to have my boy and grateful but i am heartbroken that if anything is wrong i could potentially not have any more.

I am waiting to be referred to Gyno/fertility specifialist but could take 7 weeks before i can go.

Just wondered if anyone had anything similar and any success or what the outcomes were.

My Dr has said, despite being no cysts could still be PCOS....

x
