Hi all,
First time posting on anything like this so not sure about all the acronyms etc, so please keep it simple for me! :)
Going to get a bit "too much information" here as I have never been pregnant and have no idea.
So I was due to get my period on the 6th of this month. Instead, I had an egg white like discharge. Since then, I've had a creamy white discharge. Since around the 3rd/4th I've had tender breasts (normal if I was about to get my period) and light cramping, and lately it's been an absolute shitstorm (excuse the French) of symptoms, such as mood swings, frequent peeing, "heavy" breasts and "puffy" nipples as well as tender, going between extremely aroused and clingy to not even wanting to be looked at, nausea, vomiting, prominent veins, hot flushes, acne flares, craving sweet things and cooked meat smells raw. And it sounds silly, especially if I'm not, but I just feel pregnant!
I've done two First Response tests at home, and both were negative. Should I go to the doctors for a blood test, or is it still potentially too early to detect hcg? My poor boyfriend is a bit of a nervous wreck at the moment purely because we don't know and we both just want to know one way or another (will be happy with either outcome, even though it wasn't planned).
Thanks in advance for the help everyone! :)

Hi OP

I can only go by my own experience. I have 'felt' pregnant quite a few times this time around (TTC #2), with some of the same symptoms you've described and it's not come to anything. When preg with DD I didn't have a clue until spotting started. I also wasn't aware of any symptoms beyond morning sickness which I didn't suffer from.

So in my experience, a negative HPT has always meant not pregnant.

There do seem to be people on mumsnet who don't get a BFP until much later in the pregnancy though. Are your periods usually very regular?

You could always try for a GP appointment or a tel consultation to help put your mind at rest, especially if you are usually regular.

Good luck either way.
