How long after opk?

This is my first month ttc using opk, been trying for 4 cycles. I'm lying here typing this whilst my hubby is downstairs watching the football. I've just had a positive opk, how long now until I ovulate.

I've told oh to get his arse up here and he's said after the football, I can't stay awake as I leave for work in 5 hours and not back home till Tuesday morning. Will I have missed ovulation by then?

It's a bloody struggle getting him away from the TV. Aaargh think I'll drag him up by his ears and go into work like a zombie

I read that you ovulate 12-36 hours after positive OPKs and sperm live 3-5 days. Also lying still (hips elevated?) for 10-15 mins increases your chances by 10% :-)
