I've never seen a test line this dark before but it's darker at one side than the other and ragged - maybe i didn't hold the test in long enough or set it down too quickly? feeling hopeful - do you think I should be? EWCM for the last 2 days and creamy CM today - sorry if that's TMI! Any advice would be greatly appreciated :-)

That looks like a positive from the pic. I had one that colour and then it still got darker again the next day, but I counted the day it looked like that as the beginning of my surge. Was also the day my CM turned creamy too and I panicked that DH's swimmers would not be able to swim, but maybe that's normal then if it's happened to us both!

Thank you so much ladyflower! I did another at 8pm ish and it was even darker!! omg, so excited! I thought I wasn't ovulating! I'm waiting on a scan to be prescribed Clomid & have a hospital referral away to see if I can be seen by the infertility clinic. Omg! so happy you agree!! Grin

So sorry to be a bad news nearer but a positive opk doesn't mean that you are ovulating- it means your body has the LH surge that signals the release of an egg but there is nothing to indicate using opk whether you actually OV or not.
If you temp, you should see a rise for atleast three days after OV which should indicate whether you've actually ov'd or not.
I used to think the same so thought I'd let you know- maybe worth temping to get a better idea if you don't think you have been as I had the same issue. Good luck! I hope it is good news for you!
