Ok ovulated on day 21, negative test yesterday (day 28) no af so far and usually have a 28 day cycle! For past 3 months I have obviously ovulated late in month but af been on time!
So what I am asking is am I too early for a bfp or do you think af on way?

I'd give it another week (test twice a day every day on my massive pile of Internet Cheapies) but give the bean a chance to get settled - try not to stress

If you ovulated on day 21, you'd only be 7dpo. Way too early for a BFP anyway. Implantation is only likely to be happening or just happened. If you have been ovulating this late (I ovulate around then too) but still getting AF on CD28, you might have a luteal phase defect due to low progesterone. See how it goes this cycle. The fact AF hasn't appeared is good, but I wouldn't test again before 10dpo at the very earliest and then only with a FRER.
If AF does appear, try bbt temping next cycle. That will really help tell you what is going on.

Thanks kitty- I have had loads of testing and not mentioned low progesterone but for a while I have thought maybe an issue here, if this were a problem to you have any knowledge on how this may be rectified? I have just been referred to a private fertility clinic (6 mc in 3 years ) had gynae appt , scans , blood test, sperm analysis and chromosome tests all clear . It's only really past 3 months I have noticed with my cb monitor that I ovulate so late?! X

Yep! It can be rectified! I'm not a doctor but have researched lots for my own personal information.
Sometimes, doctors are quick to just treat the symptom and prescribe progesterone during the TWW. If the follicles are damaged, this is fine. However, when the follicles are normal (only a scan will show and if they are normal, they may have judt assumed everything is fine without putting two and two together) then Clomid is the best treatment to try and ovulate earlier and produce healthier eggs and thus progesterone levels going back to normal.
Be very firm with your doctors as many miss this.
Hopefully, you are already upduffed and won't need it!

Again thank you kitty. Will ask them to do the tests/scans at the fertility clinic and advise of my cycles and concern for short luteal phase and not be fobbed off! It's awful we have to try so hard to get answers x
