couple of questions

1, i have just come off the pill ( micronor) i fell pg with ds in about 4 weeks so how long do you think it will take this time?
2, whats a persona?
2, how can you help get a baby girl?

2. apparently have sex 2 days before ovulation, all the boy sperm dies and the girl sperm get to the egg to fertilise!

1.) you never can tell. The first time I came off the pill I fell straight away but then it took me 18 mths to fall again.
2.) isn't a persona one of those ovulation testing thingies? If it is, they are all right if you have a 28 day cycle. I don't and I used all 5 testing strips and still didn't find my ovulation day!!
3.) don't know - we had sex every 2 days during the middle 14 days of my cycle and had boys both times!!

1. You may be lucky to fall quickly......you may not.....no-one can ever tell!!

2. Persona is a contraceptive device that indicates your most fertile days (so therefore abstain from sex) obviously if you are ttc you bonk like mad on those days and that's why people use it.
   You can also now buy fertility monitors that are purposely made for ttc.

3.What Mum2FunkyDude has said is the general belief...but again, what'll happen...happens!!!!

Hi Nuttymum, I just wanted to say that this is my 4th cycle of TTC after coming off the pill. I have been charting for the last 2 and don't think the pill is having lasting effects from a hormone perspective as I am ov etc but my body seems slow on the uptake! Good luck!

I don't think that there is any real proof in anything that is supposed to get you a particular sex.

Also, as others have said conception rates are all so different so think it would be completely random when you conceive. Some say it takes a bit longer than normal when you have been on the pill but my friend had been on it for years and years and conceieved a month after coming off it.
