DH and I have both had genetic testing to look for inherited conditions before we TTC.
Most tests in the UK are very expensive and very limited. I found www.23andme.com in the USA. It cost approx £100 each from the UK including shipping to the USA. Testing for just CF privately in the UK costs more then this.
It also shows if you carry the BRCA genes that can cause breast cancer. This test cost £1500 in the UK unless you can have it on the NHS due to family history.
Just thought it might help someone. I've found it very useful and it has a large community forum for discussing genetic conditions.
They have found genes associated with PCOS, miscarriage risk and many more.
