Oh, and when I got my BFP, we'd DTD every day from cd10 to cd24. It was known as the DTD marathon on that bus! Every other day hadn't worked so we tried that! Hasn't worked well since, although I did have two annovulatory cycles after the chemical.

The doctor at the EPU said that every day has a slightly higher statistical success rate due to fresh sperm and catching the 12 hour egg. As with anything though, stats can be interpreted according to the reader

detective I was adamant we had to dtd everyday then after ovu Latin dtd every other day.
As it was I ovulated later than I thought and we conceived from every other day :)

I'm going to bed as this is driving me crazy.

Pretty sure I may actually be on 8 dpo but let's not think about that.

Hmm that chart didn't post as large as I expected. Oh well.

I might give DTD a miss tonight, although I will feel cross if I then ovulate tomorrow before we get a chance to DTD!

I did the OPK at 4.30pm, there was no other line than the control test line. Does that mean I'm unlikely to get a positive tomorrow?

Dectective.... you do know that dtd too much can be detrimental to dh/dp's sperm quality/quantity?? They need at least 24 hours to charge up again

Yep, but the small problem is that not all deposits are ending up where I bloody want them! Hence the 3 times... oh dear. This is sooooooo TMI!

Treacle did you drink on the friday night?? If you did I might be inclined to think you ovulated later.... Not sure though. I think drinking around ovulation can really screw a chart up. My temps are massively affected by alcohol

No Detective - you could very well get a positive OPK tomorrow. The LH surge is a tricky thing-likes to be different!!!!

I did but I wouldn't have thought I'd had enough to affect it. I also drank the next night and it went down :/
I guess I'm just going to have to wait and see :(

I wondered if I might get a faint line prior to getting a strong one! I've got 4 more tests... is it worth doing them 12 hourly, or just daily? :)

Sorry you not feeling great Kurma I'm hoping your symptoms are related to a bfp rather than a repeat rupture cyst. Hope your appetite returns tomorrow. Maybe an early night for you?

I did read that you can have an secondary oestrogen surge around 1-3dpo and then progesterone can slowly take over-might account the step up after the drop on 2dpo. It's what I thought might be happening to me. You said you had headaches around then didn't you? I did too. Can be a sign of that happening or bollox of course

It's not too tricky sparkle You just take your temp, record the result on an app like fertility friend and it does it all for you! As you can see, however, it is something else to agonise over

Don't u all forget, I got my bfp on cd34 on a cycle with no of pain/ewcm! I'd reverted to 27-34 day cycles too.

I'm still thrown by it. Only DTD on cd14/16/18&20.
