I'm desperately trying not to symptom spot and failing today. Am 8 or 9 dpo and have had mild cramping since I had a sharp twinge on Friday night. The 2ww is so hard - reading signs into things which usually I would just dismiss as my body getting on with things! Someone slap me...

Blondie - due to the hot weather, have you been sleeping with windows open, no covers etc.? That could be a reason. Another could be a late implantation dip. However, it could mean AF is on her way...keep doing what I'm doing and keep taking your temps, especially to see if they go up!

I'm not going to slap you Brixton as these symptoms aren't in your head! Could be the progesterone surges giving you the symptoms or the lovely fertilisation possibility! I had physical symptoms every day of my TWW. Now I'm in the three week wait, I have not a lot of symptoms at all. Maybe some minor minor waves of nausea upon waking and the slightest of tender boobs but other than that. Nada. As long as you have symptoms, your body is telling you something is happening. Keep up that hope!

I've actually run out of HPTs so didn't POAS this morning. Only have the BFN from yesterday (& the positive opk) and reading tons of forum threads on late BFPs

App says I OV on the day I thought i did. (Cd15) as that's also the day I got a v strong positive OPK.
Just no idea why it's dipping so much at 11DPO. I forgot to say I also tested this morning and BFN.

We have slept with the windows open the last two days which we don't normally so that may well be it! Let's hope that's the reason. There is still a glimmer of hope then. ( I only got a v v faint positive on 14DPO with my first ) so keeping my fingers toes and legs tightly crossed!

The detective as I've just mentioned don't loose hope yet. Your just like me feeling very despondent but 11DPO is still v early. There's lots of time left yet!

Hi everyone, hope you are all well on this lovely sunny day! I am 7dpo now, my temps have been fairly steady they went up on 1&2dpo to 36.4 and then on 3,4&5 dpo they remained steady at 36.6. They went up again yesterday to 36.68 and now today 7dpo have dipped down to 36.48. I would love it to be an implantation dip and shoot back up tomorrow and stay high! I have had twinges in my left side almost like ov pains every day since I did ovulate and also some mild cramps and a lack of appetite on some days but that's about it. BFP is due next Saturday so fx that implantation happens in the next day or two.

What kind of thermometers do you all use for taking temps? Thinking about it next month if I don't get bfp this time but I'm sure our basic one wouldn't be accurate enough.

So sorry for all the bfn's and stresses. I read that stress can delay af (totally opposite to what MrsExtraOrdinary read I realise) so I do wonder if that's why sometimes because we are getting ourselves quite stressed over symptom spotting and poas too early. I was 4 days late last month and pretty much never am but I suppose you never know. Really trying to keep myself busy and have a what happens happens attitude but I'm only a 4dpo so it will only get harder!! I have pledged not to poas until 31st July at the moment.

Brixton I don't think you need a slap really! I think it would be weirder to not be symptom spotting when it's something you really want!

Kitty are you considering going to the drs for a blood test? I guess you'd have to wait another week or so, but if AF still isn't hear next week (FX!) you might just be one of those women who doesn't get a BFP on an hpt but is, in fact, pregnant.

I'm 5dpo today and woke up with an itchy rash on my hand and wrist this morning so I've been googling to see if anyone, ever, in the history of the TWW has ever had that. Also felt a weird sea sick type nausea when I first woke up, like my bed was rocking. However, I also had a million symptoms last month and worry I'm putting some of them in my head in the hope it's a real symptom.

To me, a line is a line Misty as the window would be flooded if you overdid it. Obviously, you'll check with other tests, but I would consider you pregnant!!

I might DTD later but I am seriously dry as a bone, if you know what I mean?!?! I got the usual EWCM and ovulation pains preceding the previous positive opks and temp rise so don't know whst to think. Will do another OPK this afternoon for something to pee on. See what happens.

Have a feeling I will be laughed out of a gp's office if I go this week but will keep temping in case (cinnamon I use a basal thermometer that goes to 2dp. It's the one called BabyMad from Amazon for about 4 pounds)

congrats misty a line is a line and my lines are still there 3 days in a row and still faint. my ic's say 5 mins but wait 10 mins to confirm a negative but they all have faint lines ive done 7 now

i dont know whats the matter with me i feel soooooo angry and annoyed i want to bite oh's head off. he actually asked me this afternoon if af has arrived its like he is expecting something to go wrong. when a i asked why he asked that when he knows im pregnant he said well we dont know yet do we?

yes misty i have done a tesco one it shows a faint line but not as faint as the ic's the ic's are very faint.
if we didnt have my best friend here at the time i would have screamed at him. being as hormonal as i am today i think i might have slapped him. im so angry i had a chemical pregnancy before we concieved out ds so think he might be expecting it to happen again. but he should keep his stupid comments to himself as its not helpful

theone, my DH sometimes is the same, he can say such stupid things that induce rage! Thankfully, most of the time he is well trained and will bugger off for the afternoon/evening when I'm in a bad mood (cannot fight with someone if he is not here) and then comes home with chocolate.

fattycow its got to be a girl this one i think. because was very nice and easy going when pregnant with my ds and was like godzilla when i was pregnant with dd oh dear i think oh is in for a rough 9 months

Hi everyone.
This is my first post on here and I'm in a bit of an obsessive tizz about bfn! Think I'm 14 dpo today but had a bfn on fr, but then my cycles can vary from 31 to 35 days so apparently AF could be due any time from Tuesday to Saturday?? Have just got a load of ICs to test with in the week but the constant bfns are so hard to see! I've got so many other symptoms (really tired, gas, nausea, sore bbs, cramping, and just feel different, coffee tastes off!) but I just don't know! Sorry for ranting, just can't stand all this waiting! Thanks all :)
