Gosh, I keep reading all these posts about symptoms. I'm very boring! I never have any signs of ovulation or AF! Either that or I don't pay any attention!

I just get my period, no signs or anything! The only thing I do get is super horny around ovulation. DP said he knows when I am coming up to ovulation as I smell very seductive .

Hi Linda after lots of looking at charts I'm pretty sure that I didn't actually ovulate yet and that this is my real ovulation. My test today was as dark as the test line and I had lots of EWCM yesterday. This is my first cycle TTC after birth control pills so I think it's made my cycle a lot longer and screwy.

On the plus side, providing I get temp rises tomorrow onwards I should still be in for a potential BFP by the end of this month!

Coming off the pill can mess things up, hopefully this is your body back on track now

Does sound like it might not be a 'normal' cycle straight after coming off the pill. Doesn't mean you won't get your bfp though as you have been doing lots of dtd saire

I feeling sad today in advance of disappointing news at the end of the week. This last week is a killer. I'm trying not to symptom spot this month as last month I got my hopes up as had sore boobs for a week before af. Sore boobs are back but is just a pre af symptom.

Sparkle I had really sore boobs every cycle since TTC & ended up getting AF...I am CD1 today, so the cycle just gone I had absolutely NO sore boobs! A tad sensitive around the nipple, but nothing compared to other months! I took it as a great sign! I was like YES! Defo a BFP symptom! Low & behold AF arrived! Nothing is a given, symptoms change from month to month x Hang in there, sore boobs or not, you are still very much in with a chance of getting a BFP! x

laura ive had no sore boobs for the 1st time ever this month! on cd30 so only 1/2 days left supposdly, but im worried the clomid hasnt had any effect this month and my cycle has messed up again.... will find out by sat!
dh is being very annoying telling me HE told me i shouldnt get my hopes up then saying i might have good news for my baby obsessed aunt on wed... POT/KETTLE ANYONE?!?!

Sick it TBH! . It's easy for men to say don't get your hopes up! It totally sucks for us, as the more we try not to, the more hopeful we become x

Oh dear! This thread has moved on so much since I last looked only a couple of days ago. So sorry for all of you who have had af arrive,

Fingers cross for everybody else waiting to find out. I still have what seems ages to wait, only 5-7dpo at moment. No symptoms at all yet, but then I never have them until just one day before af and didn't have any until 7-8 weeks pregnant with dd so can't even play the symptom spotting game to pass the time.

Although now that I think about it I was constantly thirsty in early pregnancy first time around so maybe I'll look out for that but haven't noticed increase in thirst yet.

Oh no Laurano I'm sorry The witch arrived! You really deserve that BFP, I really really hope you get it on the August bus. Actually gutted for you.

Siarie sounds like you're right and you've just ovulated now, the pill and all other pregnancy blockers can mess up your cycle big time so hopefully it's sorting itself out now and popped out a egg for you. Just keep DTD!

I finally got my positive opk tonight...hooray! And lots of EWCM too. The only unfortunate thing is that I'm on a different continent to my DH and won't be back in the same place until Wednesday afternoon. We DTD last night and I'm hoping to DTD on Wednesday but DH will have been up at 0300 for work and I'm not sure I'll be able to convince him again....if we don't manage to DTD on Wednesday (which may be too late anyway) could Sunday night's session have done the trick do you think?

Hi ladies, sorry I've been a bit quiet - work is very busy due to the reshuffle (I'm a civil service press officer) and as you know family stuff is quite stressful at the moment!

My sister is having a scan today(they moved appointment forward) and she's stressed and terrified. Poor girl has a big decision to make these next couple of days. But my mum has been amazing, and both my DP and I have been talking to her a lot and reminding her that we're here for her. She's going to come and stay this weekend which I suspect will feel quite tough but I'm looking forward to giving her the hugest big sister cuddle.

As for me DP and I have been DTD every single day for 14 days now! We shall see if anything comes of it... Currently on cd12, af due in 13/14 days. Long wait! I'm definitely going to start temping next month, for last couple of days have been taking temp when I wake up even though I'm mid cycle just to get into the habit of it.

was not expecting to see such sights when I opened the thread this morning!!

fx for anyone poas today! I'm 2-3dpo so nothing to report really.

Looks like I'm either 0DPO or 1DPO just waiting on my cross hairs on fertility friend. My temp went low yesterday with postive OPK and has started to rise today.

DTD yesterday and Saturday so hopefully that's enough, even sat with my hips tilted and legs up for an hour after!

Back to waiting again!

I'm feeling fed up today, had a positive opk late on Friday night which was cd9. We have DTD on cd 2,5,7,8,10 and 11. I have been trying to chart my temps this cycle too and put in yesterday's at cd12 which was 36.4 and fertility friend told me I ovulated on Saturday (CD10). I put today's temp in of 34.1 and fertility friend has told me it is not a pattern they can recognise and so cannot confirm ovulation. They have amended my chart now to show that I should be ovulating today or tomorrow?! I'm not sure where they have got this from though seeing as my positive opk was last Friday!

Just getting really tired and fed up of all this trying to conceive and second guessing what my body is doing. Tried to get DH to DTD last night but he said he wasn't in the mood. It's such hard work every month. Feeling quite tearful at the moment like everything is getting on top of me. Think I have decided to see what happens this month and next month and then make an appt with doctor if no bfp. A lot of my friends are getting pregnant at the moment and it's happening first month for most of them. One just told me that it was their first month and they were only practicing and didn't expect it to happen so quickly. I'm really pleased for them but it's just so hard having to go through the same thing month after month.

Anyway sorry for the rant, just having one of those days!

Lucieloos I don't temp but I would imagine that if you got a positive opk on Friday and your chart is saying it doesn't recognise the pattern, I'd go with Friday as being ovulation day. If you had alcohol or slept with a fan on, or were too hot under a blanket that might gave affected your charting. however I'm sure the experts on here will give you better advice

I got a equal dark test line on my opk last night and another today. I think last month I got this for two days and then, on the third day, I got a darker test line than the control line. So I think I'll get that tomorrow, which I guess is the real positive. I'm trying to work out how to convince an exhausted DH to DTD tomorrow, if I wait until he goes to bed there's no hope!
